The best (and easiest) spuds I ever grew, I grew this way. There was this little old lady named Ruth Stout wrote a book about mulch gardening. After a few years there's no tilling, plowing, and few weeds. The garden stayed covered in about six inches of mulch a.k.a. hay all summer, didn't have to water, and made harvesting super easy.
thx...i just picked a bunch today..& have transplanted 15 more along the side fence that were commin up in a neighbores yard that didnt want them. i was planning on taking a video on it tomorrow. i'm gonna make raspberry jam this yr
Hey aap! finally got our garden planted. woot! We planted red potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, green pepper, lettuce, cucumber, red onion and sweet onion. and then we got all out flowers planted too except the wildflowers. but spent this weekend doing all that. yours looks great. hope everything turns out well with it : )
well i'm gonna try to make raspberry jam if i can get enough before the birds divebomb them. i'm lookin into gettin some netting that is used on berry farms that lets light in but wont let birds peck through
you like raseberries almost as much as i do. the taters are looking good. i'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out i've never seen this large of scale of tire potatoes before... hope u get tons
