P.S. don't put your xbox on its end. that end is an air vent and by putting it upright it blocks the air flow.

Either the laser lense needs cleaning or the laser arm is on it's way out. You can get replacement disc drives ( Ben Q are best )

There are plenty of videos on you tube showing you how to clean the laser lense and replacing the disc drive. Good luck.

Its a small washer that sits inside the drive and it has been pulled loose and is now stuck to the magnetized top of the drive. Therefore your drive cannot 'grab hold' of the disc. You can fix it yourself but you have to open your 360 and your drive so if you dont know how to do that or you dont want to void your warranty then just send it back to Microsoft.

Ok, what you need to do is call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX and talk to them about it and they will fix it for you for free if you got a warrenty and if not they still might fix it for free.
