Whoa, what a voice..I always find these great singers too late. Is there any recording i can get of her doing stay with me baby? i have it on you tube, but did she do a studio version? What a talent....great technique.

never realised sams scope in her vwork this is
superb check out her version of saved a gospel song and her amazing version of george harrisons horse to water..

She also did a cracking thing a few years before this on a C4 programme that Jools hosted too, she sang "Stay With Me Baby" with Jools band.
I must have it on a decaying VHS in the loft somewhere . . . just an incredible voice (well not *just* a voice - so beautiful too & plays the uke! :~)

I'll try & find the VHS tape, but I'm hopelessly un-techno, so I'll have to learn how to upload stuff too.
But I'll have a go, as it's such an amazing performance - she puts everything into it, real emotion.
