I played a word for 143. It was jet with the j on the triple letter and then went the other way to play jive across a triple word. Haven't been able to get higher than that. I know how but the opportunity for it is just so rare

I had an opponent play 'basenji' across a triple word and triple letter, which earned the $%#@%$#@ over 120 points. Nonetheless I was still ahead. I suspected him of a cheat. FYI, basenji is a breed of dog. Yo.

Yeah, the second random opponent I played against resigned in about 5 turns. I had a 100 point lead. The first is just now wrapping up in the upper 300's for both of us. I used this tactic heavily late game to limit his score gain. The lesson was kinda hammered home when I played JOISTED off of a JOIN in the top left corner (the upper left side TW and DW) and followed it up with HAVOC on the bottom left DW and TW (my opponent had the misfortune of playing DOME off of the the E and D in JOISTED.

I have a screenshot of a single word turn worth 150 points. It had EQUALS with the S on a trip word connecting ZITS where Z was on the triple letter point.
