Try an APC 9x3.8 slowfly prop on there and see if your amp draw drops. Your setup looks very similar to mine and I got longer flights and no loss in thrust with the 9x3.8. Motor stayed cooler also. Be careful of the stock motor mount. Too much thrust will pull it out of the plane during flight! I lost my motor mount twice and finally built my own. Used gorilla glue to hold it in place, worked great! Enjoy, the Mini Mag is so under rated. Great flying plane! Good in wind too!
