Good to see this. Creole Louisiane was going the same way, but hope it is coming back from just my grandmother's generation. Thank you for the work and for posting this. To lose your language is to lose part of yourself.

This Creole is very similiar to what is spoken on the coast of Mississippi in Delisle. I can understand quite a bit.

People used to speak patois in the 19th century here. It's called patois by the locals though and not French creole. The latter is the academic term
