I think you like the Chai Latte quad better b/c the lid color is matte, the Natural Smokes is pretty much all shimmer, I mean the outer corner & highlight are matte, but you definitely use the lid/crease colors more. I like how it looks on me :)

i love love love my udpp...but elfs mineral primer is literally exactly the same, not the studio one that i do believe you have and didnt like. i have the kind of oily lids that without a primer it practically creases by the time i finish the other eye...and the elf and the udpp can keep my shadows on for around 10-11 hours and who really needs longer than that, not me. wish you luck and hope you like it, discovering udpp is what got me to finally wear makeup and enjoy it.

Hey xteeener! So, I know that the reviews kind of swayed you from getting the purple smokey eye quad...but you should definitely try Mabelline's expertwear quad in Time for Wine...it's got really pigmented/pretty purples. It was my first quad ever, and I really like it :)

My Too Faced primer also had the separate thing! I just lie the tube in another position and the clear oily stuff wasn't there anymore. May I'll try UDPP the next time. But's it's pretty expensive over here in Singapore. I'm trying out E.l.f. e/s primer. it's really cheap and I think it's comparable to the Lo'real De-crease.

I'm not a fan of that QH peel off masque. I have it and I use it occasionally, but I find it doesn't do anything for me and it's kind of greasy. I have oily skin and the last thing I need is something making me feel greasier. Great reviews btw.

I actually love the Queen Helene Grape Mask.. You have to really leave it on for a while for it to completely dry and then it all peels off really easily in one piece. It really smooths and evens out my skin tone.

I got the smokes and the greens. I just don't know what happened! The colors went on VERY splotchy and were terribly hard to blend. If i blended even a little...ALL the color would disappear! PLUS i hated that they looked one color in the ad in InStyle & COMPLETELY different when I got them home. Even when I tried to follow the look on the model, it SO did not look the same! It isn't right...LOVE maybelline...but not this!!!!!

i actually got the purple maybeline quad.

it was alright.. nothing that great. The thing about maybeline eyeshadows is that they are not that vibrant, and they dont blend well. And you have to pack ALOT on to get any color.

The L'Oreal Decrease really bites!!! I hated it, and it creased all the time on me. I have oliy lids, and I've tried the new shadow primer from Victoria Secret, and it's really really good! It lasts for me 8+ hours!

I have very oily eyelids and the Urban Decay primer potion lasts a lot longer than 8 hrs for me, more like 12. I love it! It's the only makeup I have that didn't come from a drug store or target. I just can't bring myself to pay department store prices... Except for UDPP. When mine runs out I'll definitely buy another.

I've used both the De- Crease and I'm currently using the udpp. The udpp is AMAZING!!! I've used it for a dance show and after all the sweating, my eyeshadow barely creased and faded. I actually have the udpp in SIN which has more of a light champagne color to it. It gives your eyeshadow more of a shine. I use it by itself all the time with just a touch of eyeliner and mascara. =]

oh really? i got lucky, my mom is a pharmacist @ CVS & it was on sale+she gets a 40% discount i think & she got it cheap! but check out CVS cuz on the back of their recipts they hav sweet coupons & such:)

i think it reduces the redness of the pimples even ones that are hardcore freakin irritated lol,i havnt payed much attention 2 weather or not it helps them go away faster, but i feel it keeps ur skin clean for a great while, & i have really gross oily skin!

I loved all 4 of the Maybelline Stylish Smokes, granted I don't own higher-end make-up so I can't compare it to those. I think with Make-up Alley you really have to decide for yourself what you want and will work for you. There always seems to be 2 sides to every product, so unless it has a buy again rate of below 55%, I won't buy something. Very pretty make-up by the way!
