  • Allah is great

  • Dont you get blind if you look at this im not sure which tipe of Eclipse that is

  • @RznSk8er that would be the solar eclispe that you cannot look into. well you can with a special lens and or very powerful sun shades.

  • So does it get dark, like night time, or not quite that dark? :-(

  • @bwd81977 actually it gets darker than night. since the moon goes in front of the sun, it seems like night but the moon is not reflecting light either so, clearly, it must be darker. lol oxymoron

  • @MrDbz1995 Oh yeah! I should have known. I thought I knew quite a bit about astronomy but evidentaly not. :-) But even the guys who know a lot still dont know the half of it...

  • its so prettyful

  • @jbittjbitt There was a partial eclipse in '96 up in DC. It looked like sunset in the middle of the day. It was beautiful and kind of eerie at the same time.

  • how come we never get them like this in the US???

  • @aquarianbabe We're to northern? idk.

  • @Salien1999 They say the next total will be visible somewhere in KY aug 2018, but i'm like most of asia, india and africa and the islands get them like 800 times in a year...it's like has God forgotten us over here in the northern hemisphere?

  • a UFO was captured in perfect quality on a high resolutions China News camera on this day. the investigation of the video is going to take a year and that means we are only 2 months away from this disclosure. i hope it brings the evidence needed. god bless this eclipse and day and everyone. lol im pumped

  • amazing

  • Thats so pretty..

  • wow amazing first in India now in China!!

  • I love that such a simple thing as perspective, an easy enough concept for any individual to understand, can mark such profundity and majesty in our little corner of the universe.

For a moment, only a sweet solemn moment, does the earth and moon and sun align in such a fashion to present such beauty, and that only from perspective, is this beauty beheld.

Truth, the eclipse of the sun, can only be known from one vector, but that vector always changes in time.

    Brilliant.

    -Qes

  • LMAO

  • Thanks for sharing this

    In Jesus name God Bless

  • Don't you know Eclipses are the work of the devil? How dare you spread such lies.

May you burn in hell forever.

  • @YawnGod I really hope you're being facetious. Didn't you know there was a lunar eclipse the day Jesus died? When the moon rose that evening, it was already in totality--a blood moon. A life fully lived, blotted out in blood. What's more, it was at the foot of the Virgin, as it had been as a new moon at Jesus' birth. When the moon went into eclipse on the day of the cross, the sun was put out in the heart of the Paschal Ram. Cosmic poetry, written by God at the founding of the universe.

  • It would be so amazing to se this.

  • yes, the next total eclipse of the Sun is coming july 11 , 2010, in the South Pacific Ocean.

  • thanks for sharing this moment with the world.......

    keep it up.

  • DId everyone speak french?

  • Well, he said he was in china, so I'm prreeetttyyyy sure they were speaking chinese. XP

  • there is what sounds like one guy speaking french and the rest cound like chinese.

i bet people travel all over the world to see phenomenon

  • Wow, that was really beautiful.

  • beautiful!

  • i thought it was 6 minutes ?

  • yes it was 6 minutes. but he edited the video. ;)

  • this video is a shortcut, showing the two magic moments , the diamondrings. For my location west of Hangzhou duration was a bit over 5 minutes. Maximum duration was over 6.5 minutes in the Pacific ocean.

  • 这是完全山雀男子

  • how come you cant watch an eclipse without being in one of those little boxes?????

  • This video is not that rare, millions of people witnessed it, and probably fifty thousand people made a video of it.

  • Are you supposed to look at it directly?

  • yes, as soon as it is 100% total eclipse.

no, as long as it is only a partial eclipse.

the danger is not the eclipse.. the danger is to look at the sun. the sun is full of harmful light, visible and invisible IR, UV. only once all the sun is covered by the moon then it is safe to look with the naked eye. yes, next total solar eclipse in USA is 2017. and in May 2012 we get an annular RING solar eclipse in western USA , incl. TX panhandle at sunset, in May... maybe with a tornado nearby ???

  • does this happen every year? i never seen 1 lol

  • thats awesome!

  • why was one guy speaking french?

  • I think there were people around the world.

  • maybe because people travel there to see the total eclipse..

  • The French speaker was Klipsi, giving a radio interview to a station in his home country of Switzerland!

  • Didn't know you guys did non-weather events!! Wow amazing!

  • The Ring!!!

  • In tornado alley. Not much happening here in Iowa tho.

  • finally... something not destructive XD but this is sweet!

  • the ring =)

  • Cool

  • Amazing footage. I never noticed how the sun's brightness overtakes the moon the second the moon moves out of the way enough that just a sliver of the sun shows. I hope I live to see a solar eclipse that happens here in the US before I die!

  • You might, I recall a solar eclipse occurring somewhere in the early 90's and I think it happens once in 50 years or so in an area.

NASA has a website for this kinda of stuff. According to their website, there's supposed to be an eclipse happening on Easter Island next year.

Now that'd be a place to see an eclipse! :D

  • what time was this?

  • Specatacular footage; too cool! FIVE stars!

  • wow really cool!

  • i thought these videos were about tornados???

  • come on people.. Who cares if they show a eclipse.. This video was awesome!

  • YAY The HEROES ARE GETTING THERE POWERS BACK

  • *their

  • im blind!!

  • is the moon covering the sun? or vice versa. I know this is a totally ignorant question haha.

  • The moon covers the sun, which is why it goes dark! :P

  • the earth moon and sun are lined up in this part of the world the moon covers the sun

  • Thats so amazing

  • that was awesome wish i could of been there but im in England and all i see is rain :(

  • Same

  • To weareprettyrandom:

All I got to see was SUN. *Whirr*

  • Nice

  • WOW THATS FUCKING AWESOME.

  • Amazing!

  • @ 1:13 it's good to know that "Woohoo!" is universal. I wish I could see a total solar eclipse.

  • HAHA I GOT FIRST COMMENT!

  • That is amazingly beautiful - congratulations to Klipsi for an awesome capture! 5/5 stars.
