Breath of fire : Dragon quarter on PS2. It's very different from the other games though.

WAY lower than Ryu in the foodchain), so not only she was poor and lived in horribly polluted areas, she had no rights and was thus used in experiments and turned into a genic (game term for the artificial monsters you see everywhere).

I remember this one. It was pretty damn good back in the day. Didn't quite measure up to what Uematsu was doing with Final Fantasy at the time, but it was definitely pretty cool.

Unlike battle themes, there're only 1 or at most 2 world map themes in a game. So....i can already expect what the top 50 will be like because every game's world map theme will be featured at least once :p

I will bet the #1 world map music is Chrono Cross >:)
