Its weird seeing him in a suit=,=.... But I like the classical side of him, but as a violinist myself as well as a singer, it seems he slips in and out of his rock violinist persona. I have the same problem when it comes to singing opera. I always end up infusing a little bit of Jazz, which if I were to enter a competition I'd be disqualified... :/

he does own one. he smashed one accidentally falling down a set of stairs, but he had insurance on it so he got another one. lmao

He didn't get another one through insurance, he got lent another by a private collecter while his is being repaired. Sadly the cost of the repair is around £68000

As far as I know he didn´t own a Stradivarius. His own violin is a Guarneri del Gesu. And he smashed a Guarneri not a Stradivari. He got his Stradivari from the luthier that repairs his violin.

It was a Guadagnini that he smashed, often refered to as 'the poor mans Strad'. He had brought it 4 years earlier.

As for the one he's been lent, it's quite amusing they made him hire security to go around with him to make sure he didn't break that one.

Liegt vllt daran, dass es einfach nicht sein Style ist. Wahrscheinlich muss er halt bei den rein klassischen Konzerten einen Anzug tragen.

Aber spielen tut er wie immer super!!!
