You know what Josh, I downloaded this video and I'm sure that I've watched it more than 100 times, not joking, i love the way you arranged your bow length for all notes to make them sounds equal and perfect, and yes, this is PERFECT. every time when i'm unmotivate to practice I would watch this video all over and over again and suddenly I'd be super motivated and pick up my violin immediately, wishing to become an awesome violinist just like YOU.

You really must commit to this, because you are astounding. I've played flute for 12 years and my skill cannot compare to yours. And yes, I understand that string and wind instruments are not perfectly comparable, but still, you play with an ease and skill I would love to have.

Beautifully done! When did you start studying violin? That is one amazingly difficult piece. What other concertos have you played? I hope you will post more videos of you playing standard classical repertoire. The other stuff is fun, but doesn't do justice to your ability.

You know where the intonation issues are. When Leila Josefowicz was very young (12) she said she never practiced more quickly than she could play something perfectly. She meant that she never learned mistakes. Good advice.

competitions are nerve wrecking and pretty much the biggest test of integrity for young musicians and they have the potential to kill off a lot of musicality, but in the end, they leave you with a lot of merits. you should post a lot more classical, this is beautiful. oh and i recognize that suit, is that where your profile pic was taken?
