  • Very good !

  • A download available from Amazon (for $5.95) is a reprint of a 1997 Canadian magazine article about EMI Music Canada engineer/producer (at that time) Fraser Hill, who put together a 21-song CD of MacLellan's music. Among other things the article states that the CD includes "... a rare bilingual version of Snowbird from MacLellan's TV debut on Don Messer's Jubilee." The author: Karen Bell. Document title: "Gene MacLellan: Compiling his life's work took detective skills." It's worth reading.

  • @chordwheeler Cool man, thanks for thinking of me.I hope you have the inspiration to quote liberally on any pertinant video...I'm a little bit "De Niro in 'Brazil' " style of guy, so,,,I won't get around to paying Amazon on ehalf hour of my day chit to read. I'm glad to know people care. I know a guy named David Scheffield who has a book and his daughter Catherine is out there singing for a buck and a beer somewhere too...

  • @chordwheeler Catherine of Gene, that is...

  • Thanks for this. A real blast from the past.
