  • Here's hoping Jim and these CUNTS suffer aweful, miserable, painful death due to lack of care. FUCK you CHRISTIANISTS>

While we're at it.....REVOKE these asshole's tax exempt status.

  • I am an Independent Christian Voter and that is some of the dumbest crap I have ever heard in my life. These people who preach for a political agenda are the ones who will usher in the evils of the end times. I believe people like this ARE the Antichrist. They take God's word and twist it for their own personal gain. Beware of the evils of people like these men, they ARE the beast! Please do not follow these evil men! This post is not about healthcare, this is a warning.

  • Jim Garlow is a political scienetist he adores Republican politics he has said as much at his old church Metroplex Chapel he used to have celebrities come there...Pat Robertson spoke at its anniversary a whackadoodle.

Tim Lahaye came once what a prick he was.

  • they should throw these stupid people to the lions. it's people like this that make me hate all organized religions .

  • Jesus' should slap these crazy people for distorting the facts. Hey dude the Ten Commandments was written in the Old Testiment. That testament is full of sick quotes and stories. The right-wing always quotes from the old testament and then throw Jesus in there like he said that. SMH!

  • Yeah, Jesus the healer. He was totally against helping heal people.

    Christianity has jumped the shark.

  • Christerism did that centuries ago.

  • "God is to be God, not the government."

Does that mean we're treating insurance corporations like God now?

And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full."

  • I bet i can find a pastor that is for Health Care Reform and say it is okay with the Tem Commandments. Oh the religio-nuts are always making me laugh when they pull this kind of bullshit!

  • Wow even the fucking religious freak assholes are being suckered by the insurance companies.

  • Who the hell is saying the government is "god"?? What a strawman!

  • Oh, my god! There's good ol Michelle Bachmann!! WTF

  • Wow. How does he pack so much stupidity into less than a minute?

  • Pastor Garlow, Please revisit the part about not being deceitful. You may be able to deceive yourself and folks with "Room Temperature IQs" but it the rest of see through you pitiful act.

"The easiest thing of all is to deceive one's self; for what a man wishes he generally believes to be true." -- Demosthenes

  • Human, I am not coming from any religious view point as it relates to this so called health care bill. However, you have stated that what this man just said is pure deceit. Please enlighten us all on this comment board and describe the major elements he is lying about. I assume you have read this 2000 page bill and studied it well, thereby making yourself an authority on health care funding. I am relying on your high IQ to put forth a very good argument supporting your statements.

  • jfnuyen,

I never said that Pastor Garlow is "Pure deceit".

However, he says, "Though shall not be involved in deceit", yet he claims that the legislation is Anti-Biblical, and that it is against the 1st, 5th, 7th, 8th and 10th Commandments.

    How?

The bill doesn't displaces God, it doesn't interfere with a family's ability to honor its parents and it doesn't cause people to commit adultery.

  • Human, I guess it comes down to this really. One can not look at this bill through the eyes of any religion as this pastor is doing. However, the way this bill is being rammed through, such as how the TARP was done makes one wonder if there is deceit in this activity. Some legislators have complained they are not even given the time to read a bill prior to voting. Does that disturb you at all? Do you really want to throw blind trust to these people that have got us in the mess we are in now?

  • Agreed, one cannot entirely look at legislation through a religious prism.

I don't know what will happen with the health care bill. I think some European countries are free riders. Examine most global pharma annual reports; the US operation margins dwarf the European margins.

Medicare Part D should have enabled HHS to negotiate with Pharma, which would reduce drug costs and force the Europeans to contribute more toward R&D. A deal was cut, Pharma won and the US consumer lost.

  • There are too many issues surrounding health care and TARP to discuss on a thread like this.

I don't trust people who tell me that God told them how the US should be governed.

I don't entirely trust the Democrats. I have even less trust in the health insurers, and those who destroyed Bear Sterns and Lehman while levered at 30 to 1. I also don't trust corporate managers who act as if they were the owners and the stockholders were a nuisance.

Bring back Ben Graham and Jack Bogle.

  • Human, I can't argue with your stand as presented here. Frankly, I do not trust either party, since it is my opinion that they both eat at the same tough.

  • @jfnuyen Sure , because they keep praying instead of reading

  • Shax, Have you read the 2000 plus bill yourself or do you just rely on the Congress some of which have stated they do not read bills because they are so big and they need a lawyer present.

  • How about thou shalt not bear false witness, you ignorant asshats. Brainwashed fools

  • You can use religion and the Bible as an excuse to kill people and a reason not help them, these people are PATHETIC!!

  • Truly Pathetic
