@LetsGoBurnThings Bioshock was made at least 5 years after this and deals in totally different subject matter. The vhiles, are basically DNA samples from which to clone Totenkhofs perfect master race, so litterally Adam and Eve, rather than mutagenic goop derrived from seaslugs

I have to say... BRAVO to actors who work with that little background. All they have to work with is a blue sceen and such, it must take a lot to imagine yourself elsewhere and to be seeing other things which you can only picture in your head.

I liked this better than what they ended up using... It feels like a more active way to get in all that exposition.

There was a similar scene in Attack of the Clones which came out a couple years earlier, but I doubt they would've shot a different scene just because of that. Funnily enough, Minority Report also came out in '02, and had its own conveyor belt scene.
