  • I prefer the Chinook of SYMA the only problem is the lowest fly rank.

  • Is this 4 channel?

  • there needs to be more scale reference, this heli looks just as big as the syma big chinookmut its not,

  • Yeah, the hollow look is a big turnoff. I like my models to look somewhat like the real thing

  • looks interesting. but i would like to see it out flying in the open, not just between 2 buildings or in an office. how does it handle with a little wind? what is it's capabilities? i might look into buying one if i were impressed enough by the videos.

  • As a real Army CH-47 pilot. I hate to burst the bubble of the commercial but the design of that RC helo is the much smaller and less capable CH-46 Sea Knight exclusive to the Marine corp.

  • Do people care if the Chinook is faster than other helicopters from the 60s.What is the relevance of that when its showing an Rc Heli that isn't even a chinook.

  • this is not a chinook >_> it's a seaknight (ch-46) usmc fail

  • this is not a ch47- anything.. it is a 46... why would any company try to pass this off as a 47???. With 10 yrs of active flt. engineer exp., DON'T YOU GUYS THINK WE WOULD ALL know this is a 46?????????????????

  • @jb13151 SeaKing u mean? Do people actually care if it was faster than other Helicopters from the 60s? Why is that relevant to the rc heli itself.

  • remebers the seaknight.. awesome bird.. we were doing a unrep at sea and one of our seaknights picked up a huge pallet of pepsi for the carrier coral sea... well he got up in the air... pealed back some came at a different angle and yu hear a CRACK .. WELL the net the pepsi was in broke ... and SPLOOSH .. all i remeber was laughing so hard... and yelling .. YOU STILL OWE US ... LOL

  • Yes. Flew around in a CH-46 many times when I was in the Marine Corps.

Narrator can't read. He needs to look at the pronounciation of "rigidity" and "Chinook."

Still, I may buy this eventually.

  • It's only a Sea Knight if it's wearing NAVY colors. The same thing with the UH-60, the Navy doesn't call it a Blackhawk...research indeed.

  • @unit4401 no it,s a sea knight if it,s onlly got a tricycle landing gear and pontoons at the back and did you notice no exposed engines so it,s a sea knight

  • IT,S NOT A BLOODY CHINOOK if your trying to sell this product then do your FUCKING RESERCH

  • It is a CH-46 sea knight

  • strap c-4 to it and you got another pain in the ass toy for black ops

  • those troops are gonna have a hard time holding on during flight... theres no bottom.-.-

  • Seak Knight, not Chinook.

  • @JOHNO4992 i know right

  • can you pick up a beer with this

  • @mrjimbeam2009 That was my first thought!

  • @mrjimbeam2009 LOL i searched some videos and reviews of a chinook cause i want to buy one and now ... :-) i read this question about the 6th time XD O my god so funny

  • CH 46 me thinks !

  • @JOHNO4992

    i think so too

  • @JOHNO4992 yep ch-46 sea knight

  • oh and on the chinook the rotors overlap

  • yeah thats no Chinook... where are the massive fuel tanks down the side, the other nose gear wheel, the ramp at the back, the engines. Also the windows are spaced wrongly... on a chinook they are all an even distanca apart and also the front rotors are tilted slightly forwards on the chinook :)

  • Looks more like a CH46 not a CH47. Plus it says Marines. Pretty sure the marines dont use CH47s

  • @Hawkeye0918 Yea the Sea Knight right?

  • this voice in the vid looks like the voice of the presentator (wich i dont know) of discovery

  • it is a sea knight not a chonook quite clear fron the undercarrage window layout and many other features

  • @deeka24 your right its not a chonook lol! btw its chinook and yeah the toy isn't what it said it to be!!

  • @doodskie999 oops spelling mistake, however it is still a sea knight and not a chinook lol back to spelling rookie class for me

  • i flew this one in afghan..now i will buy this one for my son.

  • 6 of the real ones flew over my house the one day loud as hell and rumbled my house a little.

  • i want to buy this chinook one day

  • Chinook has 2 wheels front!

  • Well spotted.

I guess they call most twin rotor aircraft "Chinook" even when they are based on the tricycle "Sea Knight" landing gear.

  • anyone know whether i could change this from a co axle to a single axled cp helicopter? no 3D tho

    thanks

    dan

  • lol the guy talking sounds funny

  • good model but very very cheap...you can notice the thin plastic..or illuminum w/e lol

  • i gotz bad comments befor but the ch-46 [sea knight] acatully is a chinook it just is a later model

  • No, not a later model, totally different aircraft. Any 'Hooker would lay waste to anyone making claims that the whimpy Sea Knight is a Chinook. LOL ...Again: The Sea Knight IS NOT "actually a Chinook".

  • yea sea knights are NOT chinooks

  • As a former Chinook crew member I can most definitely tell you that the CH-46 has nothing to do with the CH-47

  • As a Teenager having no experience of Flight whatsoever - the only difference I can see between those two Helis is the CH-47's nose sticks out, whilst the 46 rounds off by the windows....

Care to 'Educate' me a bit? =)

  • the chinook has 2 front wheels and it's a lil bit wider than the sea knight. the chinook also has two large gas turbines under its rear rotor

  • im in thenavy and yea they have nothing to do with each other

  • The Walkera model is a Seaknight, though I know they're calling it a Chinook themselves.

  • ya that is a CH-46 lol

  • lol... the model isn't even a Chinook.

    FAIL.

  • very very nice.

  • sweet
