Hey people. This is my first time hearing of this series and it looks interesting to say the least? Can anyone tell me if it's any good and what it's about?

@Mugsi It's very good, though I will admit that the quality goes down a bit later on..

Basically it;s about a guy named Nozomu Itoshiki, if you spell his name a certain way it becames Zetsubou (or despair), funny enough he IS always in despair. He ends up teaching a class of girls who are also very strange;one's a neat freak, one's a shut-in, one's an optimist with implied mental issues, one's a stalker,ect.,ect. The show puts a humorous perspective on Japanese society in general.
