That macbook battery system was just a piece of shit. Sorry apple, But i was lucky. However the battery has a warranty of 6 months, Why didnt u take it back?
no man use it too your hearts content lol (ebay has cheap japenese batterys you can buy that are cheaper like 30 40 bucks) but ya might wanna cover up the bay for the battery for dust prevention (some low tack painters tape?).
im totally fucked off with apple. I've been with them all the way i absolutely love everything they make. but they are no help whatsoever n they hardly ever do anything to fix things... get a grip apple AND SORT IT OUT
just wanted to post an update for you guys.. apple's solution was to give me a new battery back when this happened. i noticed today that my max charge is back down to 98% now, so i assume i'm going to have the same problem soon, and I believe my warranty is up at this point. not sure what's gonna happen next.
im on my 3rd macbook battery - if you have one that fails once then it will fail every 8 weeks of use and so in other words you will need a new battery for every 8 weeks of use. im also beginning a small claims with apple UK over it - to be replaced/fully repaired however I shall bring this along with other evidence into court for simply a refund. it's all a great shame really.
i'm having similar kind of problem with my 2 months old macbook. since i bought it, that problem is happening. when i charging it full 100%, i unplugging the power cable but immediately battery becomes 48% and i recalibrated it, resetted everything which apple recommended. and apple customer service told me to bring it back to them :( but there won't be any computer in my hand to work in that time.
I have he himself problem, the center of support of my country I indicate myself that took macbook for a possible replacement of battery, your you managed to find a solution?
