Thanks for this. Transplanted from TO to (admittedly beautiful but hopelessly boring) Vancouver in 1995. I went back to Ontario for the first time in five years in the summer of 2009. Can't believe how different it all was. Still, had a great time at a boozecan in somewhere in Kensington, and enjoyed yet another garbage strike.
