That's not true, you would get more xp in killed confirmed because you can also deny the other team's kills and confirm your teammate's kills, as well as yours. Also, you get +250 for your tags, so you definitely get more xp in kill confirmed than in tdm.

no no non no no, you get 50 for a kill and 50 for a confirm = 100 points. tdm = 100 per kills. when you get a good kill confirm game you doesn't manage to confirm all your kills therefore you get more points in a regular tdm!
