Yeah OJ and Iverson would be a great scoring duo but it's sad that Iverson's career has come to this. He went from being "The Answer" to now being "The Seat Filler". Ariza's agent tried to squeeze for more cash...the Lakers are trying to stay affordable. The problem is, Ariza's young, and if he were older he would have told his agent not to be so hasty; cuz in the end, any good player who wants to be great realizes it's not about the $ it's about the ring.

well i think that ron is an excellent addition to the lakers although lamar is an excellent rebounder himself ron might provide the edge that was missing for the lakes on defense aspecially alongside players like andrew bynum pau gasol and kobe bryant.
lets hope that ron will get used the the playing style of the lakers which will probablly mean that ron has to focus aloat on his shooting ability right now in oppose to his defence....
time will do its thing and then we will see...

Ariza's agent, David Lee, should be fired. He asked for 8-10 Mil and believed that other teams around the NBA could afford such a hefty contract. Obviously, they couldn't and his plan backfired. To save face, Ariza was forced to sign with the Rockets for 5.8 Mil, only 200k more than what we were offering. So he ended up going to a lesser team and away from his hometown. Good job David Lee. Sorry Ariza, you'll be missed.

Yeah OJ and Iverson would be a great scoring duo but it's sad that Iverson's career has come to this. He went from being "The Answer" to now being "The Seat Filler". Part of me feels bad for him because he's a future Hall of Famer but he brought this on himself by not fulfilling his contractual obligations with the Pistons. Last year was self explanatory about what kind of player A.I. was. If he's not "the man" on the team then it's impossible for him to play.

Yea I agree but I think it all started like a year before he left the sixers because he was having issues with the coaches and stuff and then when he got to Denver he did OK and thats when things really fell apart you stop hearing about him but I think he did good with Denver and when he went to Detroit they wanted to place him as the six man but he didnt want to come off the bench and you have also remember he has had a lot of injuries in his career so that plays a factor but I still like AI

it's becoz of the money, Ariza's agent bluffed cos he wanted more money for Ariza, but it back fired. The truth is Ariza only played well in the playoffs becoz everybody focused on kobe and pau. Now that Ariza doesn't have a superstar on his side, he won't be affective anymore, not in the offense but in the defense

me personally, im a big artest fan, not really him personally but the way he plays the game, he puts everything out there every night. kinda sad seeing ariza go but at this point in his career, hes money motivated, so cant really blame him. hes won his ring, now let him go get his money. but with all that said, we do need odom. hes a must have. so the management has to do wat they have to do. even if it means payin a luxery tax, they'll get it bac during the season. lol
