Alright ELawshea there are other ways he could of handeled it. They make "invisible" stoppers for piercings so you cant see the hole and it looks like nothing is there i know i have my tongue done two on my bottom lip and one in my nose and i work in a hospital for crist sakes. I'm also big BIG in the tattoo community. i have tattoos and piercings and im a licened Certified Nursing Assistant and a law enforcement student. There ya go ppl with tattoos can have careers! :P

I've seen people work in places like Forever 21, Areopostale, Hot Topic, Rue 21, resturants, (obviously tattoo places), even teachers, nurses/doctors, and lawyers can have simple piercings (nose, SMALL lip stud, gauges or any ear piercings, maybe an eyebrow, a flipped up septum, and cheeks)

its pretty obvious to me (as a brit) that she was made to goto the jobcentre as a condition of her 'JSA' claim (jobseakers allowance) and she's made herself like this to aviod work. She's 23 and never had a job I would expect. I was working at 16 and had too. Here's another reason not to get piercings: I once worked with an electronic technician with an eyebrow ring. He bent down to look at a power supply, I see this flash and hear a zap and the lights go out. 120 volts arced through his eyebrow ring and blew the breaker for the whole first floor, everybody coming out looking confused, , What the fuck happened? Lights come back on half his eyebrows gone, big black mark on his forehead. I laughed so hard I damn near shit myself. Now he's branded too.

Well I think people should let others express themselves a bit more because even though we want to be civil at the end of the day we are still human beings. The same human beings that didn't live with all these rules and put shame on people, but all those piersings can't be healthy cause you have to keep them clean or they will get infected. I have my errs piersed and they still get that black stuff in them and puss everytime I put my errangs in so I guess that is nasty to have em all over ughhh

@colltav Bottom line there are a lot of issues in the world today, maybe if people showed a little more respect to people like that maybe just maybe that person would realize they can do better for them self. often people who rebel or act out are doing so because they've been put down or told not to do things so much that they just give up and stop caring. I know there's no excuse for poor lifestyle choices, but the least we can do is reflect outwardly love and care for even the worst of people.

@z1546796 I own a small business. And while I respect people and their lifesyle choices, I have, in my business, a reputation and an image that I need to uphold. If someone has made bad choices in their life, I don't hold that against them, but I'm not willing to sacrifice my professional image to accomodate them. I have seen alot of people with tatoos and piercings that have been wonderful people, but, that's not an image that I want as a representation for my business.

Just because you have piercings and tattoos doesn't mean your a bad person or that you can't work hard. I have my nose and lip pierced and I have a job. Saying to give them a job as a circus freak just isn't right. It also wasn't right for that person to tell her to put a bag over her head. She's 23 and never had a job I would expect. I was working at 16 and had too. I have 19 tattoos and 16 piercings, but I don't get tattoos I can't cover up and the handful of my piercings I have on my face are barely noticeable when I take them out. I'm doing pretty damn well in life. I agree with you dude, but at the same time we only live once.

I couldn't get a job at a local grocery store because I wasn't clean shaven. Now I don't mean my face wasn't freshly shaved, I mean employees aren't allowed to have ANY facial hair. Some of the rules stores uphold are ridiculous.

Well, i saw the picture of her and she's not really crazy looking. There's a difference between people who have rons a peircings and where tons of dark make up and stuff, but she wasnt really crazy looking. Here's another reason not to get piercings: I once worked with an electronic technician with an eyebrow ring. He bent down to look at a power supply, I see this flash and hear a zap and the lights go out. 120 volts arced through his eyebrow ring and blew the breaker for the whole first floor, everybody coming out looking confused, , What the fuck happened? Lights come back on half his eyebrows gone, big black mark on his forehead. I laughed so hard I damn near shit myself. Now he's branded too.

Of course she will probably not get a job in a visible corporate position. But perhaps for example in a computer job, telephone customer service, radio disc jockey, audio visual jobs where she is behind the scenes. There are many jobs she could do just not one where she is receiving customers directly. On the other hand, that IS discrimination. It´s a tough call.
