  • your stud looks like he's kinda having fun with that tarp :)

  • WOW that Stallion is grate. we have a little stallion in traning now he's 18 mouths old. tell me if im rong but arent stallions really mean and hard to controul if they are not traned right. because when i was little my mom would take me to the race trake in the back and 4-7 people for one stallion

  • Is the foal male or female?

  • i have a horse just like that flee bitten named stone

  • SO CUTE.

  • Fabuloso is gorgeous <3

  • Nice music!!

  • That foal is very large for it's looking. Is a lustiano???

  • very tame and well trained stallion

  • Fabuloso is the world's greatest horse dad

  • I'm a huge fan of Fabuloso... :] and Bravo of course!

  • truly amazing

  • ohmy goodness sooo cute

  • This is so cool to watch..the baby is like huh I guess its not a monster!

  • good job!

  • too cool

  • The world has countless creatures, from the very tiny to the great whales... but from a purely aesthetic stand point alone, HORSES & TIGERS must surely rank at the very top. Nothing beats the majesty of a stallion prancing slowly, with both tail & head raised high, saying, "Look at me." And the penetrating gaze of a 500 pound tiger, with a perfect, giant head full of long sideburn-hair, with shiny yellow, white, & black stripes flowing everywhich way... surely define both majesty & beauty.

  • I like the idea of having a more mature horse be around. Helps the colt to feel reassured and learn much faster.

Just one qn, around 0:50 when your stallion was 'demonstrating' , why were his ears sticking out more to the side rather than perked up and pointing in front ( as most horses do when paying attention)? Help me understand this behaviour as every horse is different ...!

  • I couldn't help but noticing.. Is it just me or does the colt have a minor Umbilical Hernia? I've seen your other videos and it's obviously nothing threatening as he seems to be a very happy and healthy colt, but I was just curious.

  • whats the point in training them to do this?

  • @Angelnot95 so in case they come across these tiny things and dount freak out

  • @xXxlovexXxjessx oh ok

  • thats so cute and the music with it lol

  • The foal was like : ,,umm.. you can do whatever you want with it, but im not touching it 'xD'

  • that is so cute how he is helping a friend

  • Your stallion is absolutely beautiful!

  • The foal was adorable! He was like: "Daddy and Aunty are playing with the tarp and Mama doesn't seem to care... I can do that too!"

  • Wow you have a GORGEOUS stally!

  • your body language technique is amazing. im gonna start trying it.

  • this is so wonderfull!! :D this is such a cute video!!! love ur vids!! <3 #1 :D

  • Aaw he's such a good boy

  • Aww, such a fantastic stallion, he`s really pretty and it`s super cute how he helps you out on this. What a keeper!

  • That's great! What a lovely stallion!

I love how you use his help to lead the way for the foal. Nice and relaxed, and fun. That's a nice way to have basic training. Kudos. :)

  • stillion: 0:36 u see this is how u step over it u see nothing wrong with it

    foal:but it looks funny

  • Very nice video to watch! I do similar things with my horses, most of the time with the whole herd in the arena. the result is that we have real fun - the horses and I. I agree that it is sometimes a bit challenging to work stallions in freedom, but fortunately I can keep them living on the pastures all year long, that makes them quite easy to handle.

  • thats great! (: they do this alot with horses when they jump ecspecially over "scary" jumps :D

  • How cute! The foal's like 'Okay... daddy's doing it now how do you get on the thing...' haha

  • That's a wonderful stallion. I've never seen a horse so trusting of an object like that. And his trust in you just seems endless. You and whoever involved have done a terrific job with his training!

  • he is a very well behaves stud =)

  • you have the best horses..cool video and you are excellent with them

  • wow, your great with horses !! :) loved it !! the stallion and foal is beautiful !! and the mare :) i love her so much she is so pretty !!

  • omg the baby has grown!!!!

  • that is too cute ^.^ lol

  • Beautiful stallion

  • I did the exact same thing with my filly except it was my gelding that led the way, they seem to be so much more confident to take a look if they see someone else has already done it and the tarp didn't eat them lol

  • @stropheus

You need to take a look at Bravos little brother :) He is only ten days old and one of the dogs had dragged in some plastic into the garden. When we came out he had already started the training ;) He's amasingly tough!

Search for the video: "Andalusian foal Amoroso is going tough "

  • lots of time brushing and loving on this colt Your horses trust you that is why this works. If you get a horse to trust you they wont be scared of anything. Good for you.

  • I love yur stallion hes so well behaves and beautifull <3

  • Awh wow!! Thats amazing!! It's amazing to see how much the stallion trusts you and love you :) He's following you and copying you. Thats amazing and beautiful to see :)

  • @lilvixion Thank you for those kind words. The stallion is a great horse and a great dad, too! I wish more people had the opportunity to let the stallions be involved with their offspring, it's great for all parties; stallion, foal, mare and not the least the human :)

  • finally someone saying they have their own methods--- and it works!!! You have wonderful animals...best of luck in the future, love to see how this little guy grows up!

  • Glad to see there are people who still train horses about everyday things. I got a mare (12 yo) and was scared of everything... tarps, cars, trailer ramps, buckets. And we lived where there are a lot of storms and strong wind near a caravan park... and we always had tarps and stuff in her paddock, she'd be in a corner of the paddock... it was funny at times actually... finally got her used to them

  • Very great idea to teach a horse..)) Bravo to you.

  • so sweet i want to breed my own stally but nobody wants me to have it they all say stallions are all ways nasty and a waste of time

  • @moonie014w

A few words of warning: I wouldn't recommend everyone to let the stallions breed the way mine does. The stallion (and the mare, too!) should be certified for breeding: not every horse is suitable. In order for him to live with his familiy like mine does, he needs to be socialized from a young age. Stallions aren't "bad", but they need a good social upbringing if they are to act naturally; don't just let them loose with other horses and expect everything to work out by instinct.

  • @moonie014w They say that about human males too ;)

  • This is SO beautiful to see!! Your horses are amazing! I hope you still own them and their doing well! I only wish you were in my backyard so I could see them in action!

  • That is such a beautiful stallion!

  • the wind sure isn't helping you out there!

  • what is that song u have playing during it

  • nice the stallion is awesome looking love him pretty male foal is cute

  • He's very patiant with the foal and showing body language to show. Very nice.

  • OMG that Stallion Is Beautiful.!!!

  • Your horses are so pretty!

    What breed is your stallion?

  • that's really cute.. how the stallion want's to show that to the foal :)

  • very beautiful stallion, nice job desensitizing them, they look so intrigued. When do you pull out the yoga ball? hehhehe

  • it's that foal.... th son of the mare lebrera?

  • Yes it is :) He is in a lot of my videoclips, we filmed him since he was born

  • @hestenemine fabuloso is so beautifull!!!!!!!! do you still have him? he obviously loves you, he copying everything you do =)

  • Thank you :) I think Fabuloso is beautiful, too :)

Yes I still have him, he is living with his two mares and last years foal (Liberado)

  • @hestenemine =) hes very beautifull! luckeh mares

  • ok ppl, we use treats to help teach our dogs, why not our horses? Would you go out of your way to work for someone for NOTHING? It's called "incentive". And as for those "tricky situations", when you call on your horse, he WILL rise to the occasion. In my dicipline it happens alot, and mine never lets me down. Treats used judiciously are a great tool.

  • Fabuloso is a cool stallion

  • having a horse showing another is a good idea

  • it's always better to have another horse to show the one your training it's nothing to worry about, it won't hurt you. And treats are just helping him

  • it's not bribing, it's like positive reinforcement. the foal showed a little interest and sniffed the tarp, which is what you want so you give it a treat ( the treat says well done so does kind words) but the foal will figure out that if i sniffs/ stands on the tarp he will get a treat but if he doesnt do those things he doesnt get a treat.

  • do you still have bravo?

  • wow. ur stallion is absolutely gorgeous!!! if only i had a mare... :(

  • You are brilliant & so is the Stallion !

  • Bravo to you, that looks fabulous, how the stallion was standing there looking at the foal and thinking "Come on matey, its all ok, its only a bit of plastic & mums here with treats!!" lol bless

  • amazing stallion!

  • Fabuloso is so clever lolz

  • He is absalutly AMAZING.. i want him...

  • Smart stud! And that is one long legged baby. He is gorgeous. I bet he turns gray in a year or so.

  • thats sooooo cute!!! that stallion is really calm

  • honestly the stallion is absolutely gorgeous.! you are soooooo lucky!!!!! all of them are beautiful actually!!!! wow!

  • i love the whole family, specially the dad.

  • Fabuloso is sooooooooooooooooooo beautiful

  • what's the name of the song??

  • I absolutely LOVE this little horse family!!! This video is soo cute!! They're both gorgeous and I saw the mom in another video and she's beautiful too! Are they Andalusian horses?

  • lolol tarp class is now in session!

    bravo is a doll!

    and fabuloso is....well...fabuloso!

  • 0:47-0:50 heh the lil guy´s looks like "man you two have a screw or two lose in your heads O_O´"

  • aww, bravo is so cute

  • Fabulosa is so beautiful, how do u get his grey coat so clean??? You must have worked exceptionally hard with his training, I've never seen such a well behaved stallion. WELL DONE!

  • i have seen ur past vids of bravo he has grown to be a hansom lil fella

  • co cute!!!

  • gosh your stallion is a sweet fella, did you train him yourself? if you did, what meathod? ct, parelli, (i cant imagine him being trained traditionally with a temperament like that, but you never know...) bravos sure to be wonderful just like his dad!

  • Fabuloso has a wonderful temperament, and I train him with my own methods, I am a professional trainer. I do NOT use parellis methods, but I don't think anyone would consider me traditional either. Clicker training is a big part of how I work with horses. However I believe his gentle behavior is mostly due to him living with his family and being allowed to be a horse, and not the training. The mares are much better trainers than me;)

  • lol, i agree, most people segregate their stallions from their "herd" (not quite as big as in the wild! lol) and expect them to behave well! i really enjoy CT, but havent had a chance to work with horses yet with it, it seems one of the best meathods! anyway, congratulations on your beautiful horses!

  • It's amazing how well those mares can smack some sense into even the most unruly of colts.

    They are both gorgeous.

  • gorgeous stud luv to have one like him

  • that is soooooooooooooooooo cooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hes like alrite little thing do this and the colts like oo string

  • Lillerns (I answer you in English so that other people can follow the comments, too)

The stallion is a PRE (Pura Raza Espaniol) also known as Andalusian. I haven´t shown him around, but he is shown in a lot of magazines and articles and he is of course shown in my video about working horses on Long reins.

  • Hvilken rase er hingsten? Han er flott. Er det han du ahr hatt med deg litt rundt?

  • WOW i love your stallion and bravo is sooo cute =] you do a wonderful job with your horses
