Have you ever noticed that this is the official piece of classical music that gets used at any fancy dinner party in a Hollywood film? This Island Earth and True Lies are just a couple of the films to make this hilariously cliche.
You know I've been looking for the title of this piece since I watch a TV ad "Privilege Car Insurance" years ago. I woke up this morning and finally found it.
I love this piece and especially this performance. I have it bookmarked and watch/ listen to it often- it's almost perfect! I do feel like sometimes the second violin is a little overpowering, but it is a minor complaint. I really enjoy this group's work and this is my favorite of all of their videos they've posted.
Very nice to see it performed by a small group. I have an aversion to the clamorous noise of a full orchestra, but do still enjoy Mozart's work. They still put out a rich, full sound. Wonderful video.
This is my favorite of the four movements.

well interpreted. I like when I hear Mozart played the way he meant it to be.

The second movement is Romanza, a rondo form. I know this because of Music history.
