I mean, she's not exactly a main character, but her relationship with Touma seems to be most extensively explored in the novels. And in it, (spoilers, sort of?) she's already told Touma her feelings/how she's not going to leave him alone. I swear, I love Itsuwa, but for my health, Kamachi needs to make MikotoxTouma canon... And if nothing else, the author likes Mikoto too much to just write her off.

The anime went REALLY well.

They managed to portray most of the light novel contents (There were sections where you had to read the novel to know exactly what they were thinking, and when you got to that part, their face was like, super matching) I hope the anime continues because this is actually one of the few sci-fi anime I still look forward to.

@TheSystembreakdown Whats cute about tsundere's? Well I for one like how you see the relation between the main character and the tsundere grow. ZnT for example, Louise started out completely hating Saito but when he saved her life the first time (I tought it was from the golem) she started holding him in higher regard and I think this development of their relationship and feelings is kinda cute. Also with tsundere's you get the feeling that you want them to be together so badly.

@accelerator111100 I understand Misaka, but how is Index a tsundere? She is nice and caring, and has been since episode 1 instead of starting as a mean,selfish, spoiled brat. Also she admitted to loving Touma pretty much the somewhere in episode 4 or even before that (I dunno when he was in the hospital when he first lost his memory. Usually when a main character meets a tsundere she is bossy and mean, while Index was thankfull and nice to Touma even for rotten food, and squished sandwich.

But I still don't think she actually qualifies as a Tsundere since the Tsun in Tsundere stands for cold and Index is anything but that. Its just that Touma is misfortunate. awww, no Saten-san in this op, only Uiharun at 0:27. They really need a third season, the second season didn't develop the story fully enough, it was mostly Touma punching the shit outta shit, and they left us hanging at the end, they're was supposed to be an all-out war between Academy city and the Roman Catholic Church. I think that, if they dont drop it altogether, they'll either do a third season or an anime movie, like what they did with Sora no Otoshimono and Sengoku Basara.

No, Uiharu was originally created for Index's plot, different from the case of Saten-san, this last one was product of Railgun's series and they never give her some importance at Index.

And you're wrong, Uiharu is the only one that appears at Index's anime openings. Go and watch this and the second one from the second season if you think that I'm wrong, Saten isn't there ;)
