I don't agree with people of particular 'lifestyles' ministering to others. If you are still bound by sin, how can you help others who are also. Especially if you make excuses for staying in that sinful state while defending it also. Just my humble opinion.

During this brief clip Tonex talks of producing a song & of his role in stageplay,"Dreamgirls." He was not 'ministering.' At THIS particulaar point, he was having a discussion on a "Talk Show" about a song and about an acting role. He was having a conversation.

Tonex is my favorite singer but everytime I look hes supporting Secular artist. As Christians were not against the artist but were against what they stand for. And theres no excuse cause Gospel artist sing and rap about every topic there is these days.

Odub18, I completely understand where you're coming from. But I'll share this with you. In my quest to actually reach those who don't know Christ, I found that I needed to do something other than cater or minister to Christians. And through my experiences, one of the greatest lessons I learned was that I don't know what someone else's assignment is.Sure, I know God does not assign anyone to sin; but beyond that, how can we say what God has assigned another to do or how He chooses to use them?

Yeah but theres only one Gospel. So I dont see how secular people can be ministered to with secular stuff. I mean like with my music I talk about everyday stuff and dont use scriptures. But I still have the message of Christ so thats a way to reach the secular and theres nothing wrong with using scriptures in music either to reach the secular so I dont really know I just think we should be giving hope to the secular which is the gospel

Yeah but at the end if a person is unsaved. I have no problem with them I love them I just have a problem with what they stand for. I just know in the bible it says that your either for Christ or against Christ. So that tells you theres no middle fence thats just the way it is. And then you gotta think about how good Christ is and how wonderful he is so does it make sense to leave our creator and savior out of anything? Jesus is so good and he wants to bless people but alot are stubborn

i didnt mean i was on the fence about what gods says, i meant i was on the fence about not listening to non-christian artist! and by non-christian i dont mean unsaved i just mean there lyrical content isnt gospel oriented! and yeah i feel you about the, your either for or against christ scripture! but you dont not against christ if your not speaking about him in every song......i think you are being for christ if you use your talent in a positive way to uplift people and not ecouraging sin!

I mean but positive it is positive we gotta call it what it is. But positive is not Christian. The bible says either for Christ or against him. Like im coming out with a song that talks about how beautiful women are. But I still have a few lines that tells how God controls me and the girls destiny and also we gotta follow Christ to be a good couple. So yeah I think we can talk about any topic but we have to give the hope of the Gospel to this dying world. Only Jesus can change this world.

i agree about giving the hope of the gospel to the world, i just think it should be looked at like having a conversation! every person i talk to, im not mentioning god or putting god in every other line i speak! but im still saved and not doing anything that would be....against god! thats what i mean about being positive! and id like to here your song......sounds like that topic would make a dope song! people need to here that type of stuff more instead of the "booty shaking" music lol!

but the thing im saying is even in a conversation with somebody us as Christians should wait for an oppurtunity to share the Gospel. I mean if the Gospel is never brung up then cool but like with me. I will flirt with a girl I just met that I can tell likes me we will talk and I will tell her about myself and what I do eventually I will say I do Gospel rap and let her hear one of my songs and she will be like cool lol so theres diffrent ways to minister other than carrying a bible all day.

thats what i was trying to say......i might not sing christian music, but when i get opportunities like at my shows.....or when i am on a tv show/interview i will definitly spread the gospel and let people know that i give god full credit for my acomplishments, and how important it is to have a relationship with god! but it just wouldnt be in my music!

I'm sorry, I don't see it. I hate that there's this male female barrier when it comes to clothes and hair. freakin Katt Williams and Snoop Dogg get perms. Their hair looks better than most women's where I live. Somehow these guys don't look gay? I'm sorry, I just think it's unfair to judge a dude by his hair. I mean, for every ten hairstyles on a black women, black men have probably one. Women get all different kinds of dresses, but men get only a black suite. Otherwise we're gay?!

When I met my husband, he had a permed hairstyle and is very much a man...but his creativity allows him to express himself in different ways. My husband has had baids, locks, perms and a regular fade (he kept the fade for a long time). Ton3x reminds me alot of my husband. They are not afraid to be who they are. We are all individuals and are unique in Gods sight.......I don't cater to man.
