brought in a 24 track recording studio, on a truck, to do this movie

which was the first time, to my knowledge, that anyone, ever did anything like that

i wish, i could remember, the exact year ~ and, i wonder, if i still have my copy

of the whole film, the movie was ...shot live for 3 days with a live audience,

quite an undertaking at that time -

You can't enjoy stupidity. This trick was so lame it's not funny. Even the dancers look stupid here. Does he really think we're going to watch them dancing instead of him? What was he thinking?

Don't get me wrong, I think the trick has merit, and I love Doug, but it was just presented so very badly in this case. Really badly. :)
