This is a FALSE claim. It takes a good 3-4 months to grow pot, and even if you can do it faster than that, it still takes TONS of care and maintenance to grow good stuff.

I live in Virginia. I have read George Washington, the father of the United States, used to grow weed at Mount Vernon, and he encouraged everyone to do the same. I'd say Virginia should have been at the forefront of legalizing weed rather than California. But the reality is the opposite. The fake republicans on the right and the liberals on the left doesn't have much difference when it comes to policies that matters to the ordinary people in the state.
