@geedunk13 I HAD a Chrysler 300C 2.7L as my first car and got about 28-30 MPG if i drove like my grandpa... Normal driving however should return 24-27 MPG. 0-60 was a little over 10 secs... It wasn't bad for such a big boy, but i wanted more and saved up for the HEMI...

i added the intake the magnaflow and a throttle body, and its way fast than i got it now and sounds great and saves me gas better than getting a gas guzzling fast car for more money. its a smart choice to get this car and i also added upgrades on the exterior.

wow i wish people would stop dismissing the 2.7 just because it is a small engine, its better on gas and more reasonable, i own one of these and i have no complaints, they are fairly easy to maintain and if you take care of them they are killer engines, that being said this guy has just put a little on to that car to make it run above 200 horsepower, honestly why you would need 350 horses of 450 is beyond me, not to mention the price tag jumps 20000 dollars, this car runs stack 190 horses.
haha mine actually runs pretty well compared to other 2.7's ive driven, i am happy with it, mainly because it is easy on the wallet for gas, also it still has top end, its just the low end has a bit left to be desired.

no problems so far, i just drove it from portland, OR to Missoula Montana and back and had no problems. One of the most comfortable long distance cruisers ive ever driven.
sounds really nice man! the K&N Intake makes those 2.7L's sound really nice and throaty when you get on it!
the 2.7L's aren't too bad acceleration wise because the way they are geared, it's just certain speeds where power lacks such as speeds where you can't get a hard kickdown.
Handling is pretty solid. the chassis is based on the old e-class mercedes'. The 2.7's give you about 200hp which is not terrible, but it could use some more off the line scoot. it does provide plenty of passing power on the highway however, and gets great mileage (26-27 highway). Ultra comfortable without being senior-citizenish.
Check out my charge . Me personaly you need a exhaust system it sound good but it could sound better

The 2.7L achieves about 27mpg in mixed driving. That's the advantage to having it opposed to the 3.5L.

yes i have a 2.7 charger( sarcasm) go to my profile and youll see both my cars 6.1 hemi and a 3.5 v6. dot tell me to shut up when my part actually makes sense dude! you cant have one type production because your sales will plmmet by almost the whole thing. i understand what youre saying but thats why theres a different division for each make.

oh i see what you're saying. I thought you meant with a stock intake, you must have meant a mopar cold air/short ram air intake. i want a 300C SRT8.

yes thats what i mean the dealer installed a mopar cold air intake for me which adds 10hp making it 435hp not regular 425hp

no problems so far, i just drove it from portland, OR to Missoula Montana and back and had no problems. One of the most comfortable long distance cruisers ive ever driven.

sounds really nice man! the K&N Intake makes those 2.7L's sound really nice and throaty when you get on it!
the 2.7L's aren't too bad acceleration wise because the way they are geared, it's just certain speeds where power lacks such as speeds where you can't get a hard kickdown.

Handling is pretty solid. the chassis is based on the old e-class mercedes'. The 2.7's give you about 200hp which is not terrible, but it could use some more off the line scoot. it does provide plenty of passing power on the highway however, and gets great mileage (26-27 highway). Ultra comfortable without being senior-citizenish.
