  • The syncopated rithm(snare drum on 2 and 4) of rock music is draining all the energy out of our bodies and the earth body.It is a sin indeed!

  • This is dualistic prejudice at its most "superior".

Still - if that's the experience you want yourself and others to have, so be it.

Take this comment as you will and apply it as you will.

  • This is so untrue! I love metal! Never had an attachment, and I have a very high vibration. Get a clue!

  • Thanks for the insight guru, just wondering what musical artists do you listen to? I myself have listened to what would be considered discordant sounds for years, but I also am a huge lover of music, with the aspirations of creating my own music, the more I seek understanding of God I am drawn towards ambient, ethereal type music, gentle breezes with notes swaying...hard to describe, but I am wondering who you enjoy...thanks for your guidance!

  • @seanflow Louix loves and listens to all types of music. His favourte genres are R&B, Standards (Classic love songs), early 60's, and as you would expect love songs of all types.

  • I have recently thought about this to myself.. And im a christian and I love death metal, black metal and all kinds of other metal bands. The problem I have is a lot of the bands are blasphemous or speak of subjects such as rape, murder and drug use. Yes this sounds awful but for 1 I listen to the music because I enjoy the music because of the way it sounds rather than the lyrics, another thing is I cant even tell what there saying until I look up the lyrics, lol ... so is it a sin to listen ?

  • @Ryanbassist26

its not a sin,but you do yourself a dis service and drag your cosnsciousness downwards....

  • @Saree3 That is what a "sin" is. And contributing the darkening and failure of the planet by destructive music is indeed a "sin" of a tragic nature.

  • In my opinion, much of the problem with "discordant" music isn't the music itself as much as the lyrics... There are some really powerful, uplifting recordings of rock or even heavy metal pieces without words...or at least we can make them powerful and uplifting if that's what we choose to resonate... Angry lyrics are harder to get past, I think (I used to love such music, too--because I was angry).

  • Thank you so very much for your Divine message!

I really enjoy listening to your soothing voice and it is healing...

  • Nice messages.... are you a musician too, and if so, do you have any music online? tkx brother, Dieter
