Its a shame that even with all of the work that goes into this show it's nearly unwatchable. She doesn't know how to interview politicians and recently her eye makeup has gotten so heavy it looks like she belongs glued to Halston's arm circa 1970. Oh, and the yellow and white stiped sweater with the stain on the boob? Priceless!

Everytime we see Katie and the CBS crew they are appear to be having a terrific time together. It's almost impossible to translate Katie's charm into the glove of the 22 minute Evening News Broadcast. If the format could just be more like KTLA in Los Angeles in the morning. It would really show her personality and give the show the pizzaz of 21st century broadcasting.

If you're trying to say the evening news lacks substance, I would strongly suggest you watch some newcasts-if you did, you'd realize you and hundreds of critics, as well as millions of Americans who think they're critics, are sadly mistaken. Katie has just as formidable a newscast as Brian Williams or Charlie Gibson, if not better.
