I really wish there were more racing games like this. I just LOVE this style of racing on dirt. Its so much more satisfying than racing on pavement! Ive had this game for a while now and I will be pissed if they dont make a Dirt 3!!!

what he said, this game has the best racing physics, not to forget that it supports H-pattern manual shifting, so you can use all advantages of manual transmission, like engine braking, powering around corners, recovering from a corner. I was playing demo map for 8 hours.. just couldn't stop it's so realistic and addictive :))

snab that is not true. You can always identify which is real and which is virtual. There is always a dimension issue in virtual technology.

Dirt 2 made cars looks as real as possible and its very close to the actual, but there are elements in dirt 2 like the environment and phsyics of dirt spewing out from the wheels still is fake.

there r 2 things i dont like about the game. 1. the recks should just total ur car if there bad like a lot of times u can run into a tree n just keep driving, even if it's on hardcore which is gay. Needs to be more realistic! 2. when u fall off cliff u should be able to watch ur wreck.

Does it still have the old rally style? Where the Co-driver is screamin in your ear like dirt 1? I hope so, thats what I love about Rally Racing, if it got rid of that then its just another racing game.
