I wasn't aware of this until 2 months ago and don't know the story of Mackenzie Blue. But if she's playing a rather bashful 12-or-so year old, this is a superb performance. The vocal and guitar work are excellent, as is the acting, unless I'm way off base in assuming what she's trying to portray.

Been saying that her underlying voice was great ever since the first time I heard her on America's Got Talent. This kid could sell lots of records if she was willing to set some of the yodeling aside. Nothing wrong with yodeling, just that it has a very small niche market and she deserves a lot more acclaim than she has gotten. Go girl... look forward to hearing more from you.

@TonyMontague The problem is that there are a LOT of people who can sing like this. But how many people can yodel like her? The crowds reaction at AGT shows she could have a fantastic career as an old fashioned type country singer yodeler. If she strays from this she will just have way too much competition. People like a change of sound. This is why she was so very popular.
