I solo'd this without seal of light. used seal of command, cut the fight down to about a minute and a half, wings half way through the priest. clean easy fight. gear might be diffrent with the paladin on the video. my pally is 6k gs blah blah so yeah, easy fight :)

its doable but really frustrating, everytime i used my HoJ i was silenced and couldn't do anything. You can use avengers sheild to temporarily interrupt her(she usually tries to cast again in 5-ish seconds) but sometimes that can give u just enough time to cast the hammer again or for your silence to run out....Anyways, took me like 20ish minutes from all her healing.

Just did it today. Killed him in p2 after 25 mins of fighting. The silence really drove me mad. But the key is to be patient and keep yourself focused on the heals. If they are all on about 20k hp switch to Seal of Command and start nuking them with Wrath on. P2 is absolutely no problem at all

Easy actually.. Just press V, so their healthbars will come up.. Switch target all the time until they all low hp and then use AoE dmg.. The fight took me around 2 min.. I am prot paladin

I started in lvl 70 doing this -.- 3 man. I healed it did drop 2 times back then but i didnt get it, only the 2 others, but of course NOW they quit wow so they got the tiger for nothing . (though i got Time-lost Sex Drake) ;D

This is MUCH faster and easier when you glitch him into tiger form straight away (the adds despawn).

I gave up trying to do it the proper way solo. Just too much of a pain in the ass. Gz on getting it done though :D

How did you clear the axe throwers as prot? I try to go in there on my paladin (Only 76 at the moment) and the axe throwers are kicking my ass. Could you possibly post a video on clearing the trash portion?

I usually manage to take one axe thrower out before they start that annoying AoE stun. And when they start to use that stun thing you can always bubble out where needed. There's no need to kill the packs on level 80, not sure if you can skip them on 76 (but I bet you can).

It isn't, I tried today (for the frist time) and tried to get thekal to bug out and skip p1. After 2hrs (yea, persistance ftw) I decided to do it the proper way. I did it exextly the same as Grash and worked like a charm, took 2 tries before I got it. Be aware of the silence btw, make sure mend pet is up otherwise your pet might die.

I doubt its possible as ret because there's no real way to avoid the stuns and silences except to bubble out of it. And I only use bubble when the healer is about to land a heal i don't want her to. My server is Stormrage-EU.

Wow long fight took me almost an hour, and you are right health/mana stayed above 90% entire fight. Issue is getting interupts off (silence removes our interupts)... I had no issue with second form, straight tank and spank, done. I recommend bringing each to about 8k (before burning the healer) all out aoe then.

i made a paladin because i saw videos like this showing how OP they are but when i actualy made one it was so boring, they have so little moves compaired to other races like warrior and DK therefore making them become a little tedious after a while and i got too level73 and gave up. good video btw but im currently gettin a warrior up, he is lvl72. warriors arn't as OP as paladins but they are way more fun. I will make some videos showing warriors are good for once when he gets level80 =]

did the raptor boss for the first time today (prot pally) and the mount actually dropped ; ) tried the tiger boss, and it was so close, but managed to rezz up. Thekal is the problem, because of his HP difference.

Me and a hunter frind solo these guys every 3 day....we were messing around in STV arena and im like want to go to ZG and have some fun? We kill raptor boss he wins it we go back every wek until i get raptor or tiger.... this is how we do the tiger boss im BM so i pull them ...freind has pet taunt boss well my gorila tanks the 2 adds outside reset line on he kills the main boss it bug and he skips to phase 2 because his adds are out of LoS

this is why there are often problems guys let me explan: well first of all the zealots are alot like romeo and juliet in kara you have to kill both of them nearlly at the same time within 10 seconds if not they respawn you have to dps each zealot to a very low hp level each and then kill

I'm on this mount too,but it's really hard to solo,so tomorrow I'll try a new talent where I get the +30% silence reduction of concentration aura+usin the 10% red meta gem from wg.I hope it will work.

I also tried that bug when zath can't heal the others but after 5 min the rogue stunned me and came behind me,so it's really hard.

Sadly, this boss fight only shows how gimped pally class is. I was able to do this with 70 epics and 80 blues but the key problem is the lack of spell interrupt and silence effect that affects most of our spells. I eventually give up after 25 mins only to see my brother soloed this boss with his death knight in 5 mins. Most pally solo videos of pre-tbc bosses indicate average length of 25-50 mins per kill and death knights can easily solo the same boss in 10 mins or less.

yo its me again.i got some news that can be handy for every1.now u all know that these 3 subbosses stand on a platform that has 4 pillars on each corner.here is what to do and its not an exploit just simple game mechanics.stun the healer just on left side of the bottom rigth pillar,then kite the other 2 to the leftside of the same pillar.if this 2 stands closeenough to the pillar healerwont follow them and also lose the line of sight:))piece ofcake from now on.justnukethe 2enough b4 unuke healer

That sounds like the average troubles you'll have on this fight. It also depends on your luck, e.g. being silenced when she heals or not. The fight can be over fairly fast, but it can also last forever if you're unlucky with the heals/silences and cooldowns.

You can take Improved Hammer of Justice for a 30 second less cooldown, but imo it's a waste of 3 talent points.

Just keep trying and eventually you should emerge victorious :)

You know there is a bug to turn thekal straight into tiger without downing the others, you aggro em all and jump on the small log while on mount, once they unaggro cuz they cant hit u you chase after them untill u aggro again before he gets back to his spot, if u aggro before he gets back there is a chance for him to turn straight into a tiger, trust me i saw another vid of a guy doing it and iv done it myself

I've just started trying to solo this boss, and so far, it's been all bad. Every time I'm about to HoJ or Arcane Torrent to stop a heal, I just happen to get silenced.  I've been close a couple of times, but in the end, Lor'khan always get off a heal to Zath or Thekal (For some reason, it's almost always Zath). Quite frustrating.

Yeah it's a horrible fight. The heals are very annoying. You can always use bubble when you're silenced so you can interrupt the heal, but still, there's a 4 min CD. It can take ages to get through that fase, and when you try to keep Lor'Khans hp below that of Zath and Thekal she'll likely heal herself. But that means you have to DPS her even faster after the heal... its frustrating indeed.

I don't really know. I spoke someone with a mix of T6 Tank gear and Northrend blues, with about 490 defense rating. And that wasn't good enough. While my gear is good enough by miles.

It takes ages to get them down at the same time. As long as the healer heals herself there's not a problem. Usually this fight takes me about 30 mins.

Yeah those packs suck. Just aim for the stunning humanoids first. Hammer of Justice, Bubble, use everything and you should be able to handle one pack. Then just wait for your bubble CD to wear off...

Those adds pre-boss do suck. I bubble thru the first set of spins, and burn one down.. then I approximate the timing of the second set, and outrange them.

Or you can run straight into the boss and skip them all.

For ppl asking if Warlock can solo it? No they cant, as he do a Zap on the MT ( your pet) and change to attack you, you will take a certain amount of damage every time

A level 70 warlock solo'd Mandokir, so yea maybe you can do it. If your voidwalker is able to handle the 3 'bosses'. Can't give you any guarantees, but ofc it's worth trying imo.

I've seen this being done by lvl 70 warrs :)

It requires a trinket from Shadow Lab which heals you for 120 when you block. Pull a bunch of non-elite tigers, pop that + shield block and u get a full heal every 2 mins. Nice job tho, nice choice in music.

That's a hard one, I don't know how much damage you'll take as a holy paladin, and you don't really have the oppurtunity to heal yourself besides Judgement + Seal of Light. And you miss out on one great AoE DPS spell (Hammer of the Righteous) which makes it even harder then it is a Protection. But it's worth a shot.

I'm also a big confused because you say to stop using Hammer of the Righteous(along with Consecrate and Avengers Shield) then in the very next sentence you say Hammer of the Righteous will be the main DPS. Do you have your strat typed up somewhere?

I want to start doing this with my pally too - I really want that tiger mount :)

Yeah, the order of those sentences are a bid messed up. But the idea is to get Zath and Thekal on low hp, then you should stop your AoE since you don't want them to die too early (they have to die at the same time). Then you should focus on Lor'Khan with single target spells. At times where you can do AoE Hammer of the Righteous will do the most damage, that's what I tried to write down ;)

My first kill took me about 15 minutes. But I got lucky there, other kills took me more like 30 minutes.

I doubt you need any super-gear as a protection paladin to solo pre-bc bosses, considering how good even quest rewards in lich king are compared to t6-gear in burning crusade.

Yea I think the required gear standard isn't that high. I'm doing it in nearly full level 80 epic tanking gear and I don't even come close to dying or losing too much mana.

I guess a mix of level 80 greens/blues should do too.
