Per fare parte di un insieme bisogna rispettare regole comuni, altrimenti si ritorna un gruppo di staterelli con in comune solo il fatto di pensare solo ai propri interessi. Questo inglese è un buffone e un maleducato. the reason he feels he can talk for italian and greek people is this - he believes the people are more important than government, the people should decide their future not unelected technocrats. he can see how the eu is hurting the europeans. in short he believes in freedom.

@jdhf983y4uhu He still isn't legitimate to speak for us. He was put there by a part of english people, so he should speak ONLY for a part of the english people. The technics wasn't put there by Europe, they was voted by our parliament, wich was voted by the people. Elections would have been a disaster for us in that moment, and most of italians know that. That's why Monti's government has more consense than any other party had.

politicians can not start dictating who governs the people, it's called "consent of the governed". that is why he can speak for people from other countries, he is on your side whether you like what he is saying or not. he is sticking up for the rights we are born with, something no politician can take away.

l'Italia, al contrario, si è sempre distinta per il suo europeismo, ancora più della Francia che, essendo la patria della rivoluzione francese (dalla quale le idee europeiste sono uscite), dovrebbe essere il paese più attivo nella formazione di un'unione europea.
