  • dude u need to start palm rolling or something cause thats like one big dread

  • @ajamchatraw91 Hence the name of the video "...dreadlock".

  • stop frontin.. that wasnt no snow..

  • @kratiotic Double negative. So you're saying that is snow.

  • lol some kid was so scared as soon as you pulled the hat off 0:20 lmaooo

  • @FrankieGgoes Hehe, That's just perfect timing, seeing as the property is surrounded by high hedges.

  • natural loc butter no beewax or gel go to organiknordaz website

  • @naturalhairz Well, I didn't use beeswax or gel.

  • @naturalhairz How about puetroleum/ Thats the stuff thaat locks in moisture and causes your hair to mold...

  • My boyfriend has dreads, they look awesome...

but if he had one big dread on his head i dont think id be too attracted haha

  • @xxSoph13 I'm sure you'd still be attracted to him, but not his hair. With or without one big dread, I still attract the attention of everyone. *sinister smirk*

  • @Sumfera haha i suppose you're right :P

i can imagine your one big dread having a face and a really low croaky voice.. you could go round scaring children, itd be ace!

  • @xxSoph13 You mean like Voldemort on the back of some professor's head in the first HP movie? lol

Bleaching some parts of my hair to emphasise a Sweeney Todd look would also be ace.

  • bro so sick. thier gonna look so narley in a couple more years

  • well i think its cool! :) its his way of expressing himself.just like people wear weaves, dye their hair, shave their head, etc. he has his own style & im happy to see someone who has balls enough to be a free spirit and not care what other ppl think and change the views of normality. :D

  • @MzKariShante Yay, one more supporter. ;D

  • @david9562 I'm glad someone has my back.

  • LOL

  • Ohh dear lord... I think you are the children are afraid

  • @MrBubbaGump69 I'm sure that was just coincidence. ;)

  • just a question, what made you do it? was there a purpose or you were just having fun? and were you trying to have individual locs and they did their own thing lol??

  • @jbrwn07 The reason is split into two parts. First of all, I was fed up on getting my hair cut every now and then, so my hair grew long. Secondly, the dreading process came as a result of the longer hair. It was a journey to me, both fun and interesting. Yes, I was trying to have individual locks but it hurt SO MUCH trying to separate them every day, so I stopped doing that(big mistake). Eventually I separated "them" with scissors, but that didn't work, so I combed them out. Video on my channel.

  • @TheXavierLee Oh, that Edd. Haha

  • I wonder why this video has so many dislikes?

Got some unique dreads goin' here, I wonder how they look now :P

  • @geragna Oh that's just their point of views. Doesn't really bother me. The dread(s) have been cut and combed out because it took way too much time to maintain(washing and drying). In time I'll get them a proper funeral, the viking kind of funeral.

  • @Sumfera That would be suitable :p

  • @geragna Yeah, and I'll be sure to put it on YouTube. ;)

  • you look like Edd :D

  • @poprostupolak123 Edd? Elaborate. :P

  • u got the amy winehouse thing going on lol

  • @RastafarianMovement Lol, I'm not too familiar with Amy Winehouse, care to elaborate?

  • @Sumfera this method dont work on asian hair

  • @Xxmanny99xX Yes it does. I'm half asian.

  • @Xxmanny99xX Sure...

  • veh...

  • @skaplis Pardon?

  • not cool @ all

  • THATS FUCKIN MEAN!!!

    DONT CUT UM

    DONT DO NOTHING

leave them itll turn out wonderful

  • @Lordithirsty Ah, but unfortunately I don't have it anymore. It was like washing and drying a towel. Took so much time and a waste of natural resources(water).

  • hell naw u need ta kut dat shit

  • @4Dmixx I did and it doesn't work out well which is why dreads should be separated at all times.

  • Try separating with a fucking knife, man :-P.

  • @JamesCFraser Oh scissors worked fine but the results weren't fine.

  • @Sumfera Christ, dude :-(. I feel for you :-(.

  • That looks like one big dirty lock. glad i took good care of mine

  • @drkwngduck It was actually clean. I just couldn't stand the pain in separating when it was dreads. Not even lubricating with oil helped.

  • yo just trying to help... you should separate your dreads.

  • @serendipitous123321 I did but the results weren't nice. I've made a video for it. Check it out.

  • @Sumfera ohh. ok cool

  • omg loll

  • can you wash natrual deads??with like reagular shampoo??or do you need speacil dread shampoo?

  • @11yearoldscene Of course you can wash natural dreads. Pick a residue free shampoo as most regular shampoos leave stuff(scent for example) in your hair and that builds up in time.

  • HAHAHA SWEET..

    fo real..

  • @wartalck Sweet indeed.

  • i perfor at least more then 3.....tht looks kinda weard

  • @11yearoldscene Having many dreads simplifies.

  • but man, u do have some kahonas for goin out in public like that. give u props.

  • @BkBiH69 Thanks.

  • it looks like one lock

  • @boomkingg That's because it is one lock.

  • man that's nasty. looks like you got something or someone stuck in that clump and they cant get out. That's a horrible way to do dreads. Never understood why people did that method. It's a new day with different hair products and methods of doing that clean. Not a good look no matter what race you are. Lokks like you dont shower or bathe!

  • @mormana First of all, I take showers twice a day. Dust and stuff do come out because 1h showers tend to do that(crazy, I know).

The problem with one big dreadlock is it takes time to clean and if it doesn't get clean enough there will be buildups which together with being too tired to take care and lack of time caused me to comb out my hair and cut it.

Take a look at my most recent videos if you don't believe it's gone.

  • @mormana Oh, and the reason I went the all natural way is that I wanted to see if it could be done. I did however not realize it would lock up into one big dreadlock. Separating the locks was too painful so I didn't.

If you see someone not separating the locks tell that person what happened to me. lol

  • @Sumfera i let my hair grow out naturally for a year.. they naturally dreaded and stood up in bunches... then when then where getting unmanagable i got them separated, pop'd waxed loc'd ... now they are dreaded, almost a month in, was painful but now i can whip my hair like that willow bitch... dreadheads for life, glad i did it

  • @RoBBiECHiEf That sounds awesome. I bet they weren't as tangled as my hair since you managed to separate them.

  • just good one !

    EXELENTE !

  • @drDreadNS Sweet, thanks.

  • haha that's crazy.. one big massive lump of dread. nice :D

  • @PHOG1 Thanks. It sure is. ;)

  • Did you wear a cap all the time? :))))

  • @joSSka Yup, pretty much. It retained a lot of heat.

  • @Sumfera I´m thinking about wearing a cap at night....don´t know if it´s the best idea....

  • @joSSka I used to wear the thick hat you see in this video at night and it seemed to speed up the locking process. Perhaps too much because you see the lockness.

A cap you say? Won't that be rather tight?

  • @Sumfera I really don´t know...I have the same hat as you...so I will try it :)

  • @joSSka Sweet. Remember to separate your dreadlocks or you'll end up with a big one like me.

  • @Sumfera Man, I don´t care about hair look :-)...I see a lot of personality in your unidread :)

  • @joSSka True, a lot of personality but so much time and water went to washing it.

  • @Sumfera lol

It´s annoying to wait until my locks are dry.

  • @joSSka Try to squeeze out as much water as possible then wear a dry towel on your head for a while. Blow-drier also helps.

  • @Sumfera I don´t want to use blowdrier...I dry my hair as usuall...

  • @joSSka Lol... saw your comment now after 4 months. As long as it works for you. :)

  • @Sumfera I dry them as usual :)

  • @joSSka a silk skull cap is really good to wear at night. It keeps each dreadlock from tearing apart

  • I think you set a record for the world's biggest dreadlock. Sweet

  • Actually. There's an Asian dude with a much longer dreadlock.

  • that is so gross and... there arn't words to describe it. If you really didn't feel like washing it, at least dread them by backcombing first and then neglect them. That is just so ugly.

  • Read...the...video...description...before...you...complain...

It's to the right of you were unaware of it. There!-->

  • its so good when u dont have to work and ur parents support u with money...

  • They do but I also get my own money and loaded.

  • why did u cut it? :(

  • I say it in my latest dreadlock video but it's because I didn't have enough time and energy to wash and dry it.

  • you are truly a free spirit to do such AN UGLY atrocity of a hair doo

  • help dude what was the 1st step to do the dreads?

  • That would depends on which method you want to get them with. I went the natural way but I went too natural and didn't separate my dreads so they become one big dread.

First step my way would be to keep your hair clean and don't comb it.

  • @ThePaintftw you mean dread

  • yes man, in portugal we say dreads, my mistake

  • Dreads = many

    Dread = one

  • One big lock?

  • Indeed. One big lock with the original locks as tips at the top.

  • hahah i find this awesome man. great stuff. i'm going natural now. i'm about 2 months in. i will seperate mine though, into fat dreads

  • That seems like a good plan. Separate them or they'll knot up into one.

  • Namaste.

  • Namaste? :S

  • Are you able to swim and do sports, or does it result in you carrying a filled "sponge" on your head? :P

  • Lol. I wore a swim cap to keep too much water out.

  • If you'd bother to read the title of my video you'd see this "1.5 YEARS NATURAL (neglect) DREADLOCK". Pay attention to the "dreadlock"-part. It's in singular and not in plural.

So, ONE(1) dreadlock, not multiple dreadlocks.

  • lol why just 1 ? why not 40 +

  • They tend to get married and become one. :P

  • WHY!!

  • Pardon?

  • lol its almost like sum1 screamed soon as u took off ur hat lmao i cant stop watchn it..and the bak bro oh god....

  • haha, really? I haven't noticed someone screaming. :P

  • @prettidreadz1

That shit is too funny I can't stop replaying it either lol

  • @prettidreadz1 yeah what happened they looked decent and pretty apart at nine months then you got the unidread!=O

  • @neglecthedreads A lot can happen in a few months. :P

  • lmao laughing at myfrances i agree maybe u should start ova cut dat off and restart..jeeezzzzz

  • lol :P

  • im tryin to figure out why u want one big dread.

dont get me wrong badass work thats dedication but...

    damn haha.

    not talkin shit just asking.

  • I didn't feel like separating it over and over so I let it do what it wanted to - knot up.

  • Hope that people don't get the impression that all people have to go through this nasty process. I just started my locs and I get them washed every two weeks... that is gross!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If you read the video details you'll find out I wash every 2-3 days, you on the other hand... Every 2 WEEKS?? Now THAT is gross. I'll let you find out by yourself if you haven't yet. I hope you wash often than every 2 weeks later.

However, I'll let anyone get their locks in their own way.

  • guy you do what you are comfortable with if thats what you love do your thing.

  • if you wash them every two weeks they wont dread.dreadlocks need to be clean to be formed

  • stick to backcombn its better for your hair

  • Mhm?

  • dude how you start on something like that ?!

Do you wash it ? i mean when you have the dreads like that?

  • Start by letting dreads combine at the roots for a year until they're all connected and grow like a helmet.

Washing takes ages, really. An hour to wash and an hour to dry. Not recommended, that's why I separated them.

  • looks like a piece of turd i like it hehe

  • That's great. :)

  • theres a old white guy who has one dread down to his ass and its fat

  • Hehehe, lovely. ;)

  • Oh my ,lol so your going to keep growing it

  • hehe ;)

  • dude if u keep growing ur gona have that big dreadlock like the asian old guy with the longest hair ... look it up on youtube

  • Yeah, of course. lol

I've seen that vid. Great guy.

  • Nigga.....lol...what the fuck is gonnin' on with your head! Hahahahaha...........You tryin' to be funny right! lol ??

  • Um, what? Nah, I'm dead serious.

  • thats tight!! good idea lol. i only have 15 dreads cause i want size over quantity, urs is just plain fuckin creative =D keep the updates comin

  • Yeah, sweet. :D

The problem with size over quantity is the dry time. lol You know what I mean. ;P

  • haha mine are just babies but i washed for the first time the other day and it took forever to dry them lol.

  • Oh, you just started. :)

Be sure to get them clean in the shower. Make sure theres NO residue left.

Btw, thanks for invite and subscribing. :)

  • yeah =D, haha ima go for an ocean swim to get some salt in them, its supposed to be really good for dreads. ima prolly washem with baking soda. haha np

  • Yeah, that makes them lock faster because there's much more friction. Might be other stuff in the ocean too. Lol

I tried baking soda once. Can't remember how it went.

  • OMG did u wash your hair since u did your one huge dread ???? lol

    looks nasty hemmmmmmmm :(

  • Haha, of course I washed it. eww lol. Every 2-3 days(you'd find out if you read the video description).

  • What inspired you to d that to your hair? Where do you get the idea that this is dreads?

  • Once again, One Big Dreadlock, not many.

I didn't feel like seperating my dreadlocks and they eventually became one big dreadlock.

  • you look like trolls dude..lol

  • I have dreads and those are not dreads,,,i dont kno wat dat is

  • That was a Dreadlock(one) and not dreadlocks(many).

  • Man you got my respect bro, doing the neglect.

I'm back combing mine today, I just don't have the patience haha

  • Hehe, thx.

How does it feel now? Make videos and keep me posted on your progress. :)

  • lol well at the moment I only have 7 dreads in my hair. My friend that was doing them put rubber bands REALLY tight in my hair first and it felt like twisting a knife in it :(

But we should be finishing it tomorrow or today!

  • Oh, well, relax,

I know what you mean by the knife thing. I'm combing out the back of my dread. So painful. lol

  • ahhhhhhhhhhh sweeeeet, 1:04 lmao

  • Hahaha, yeah ^^

  • that really doesn't look good at all

  • Well.. I don't have it to please your eyes.

  • agreed.

  • kinda... unique. ^^

  • Hehe, indeed it is. ;)

  • your cute and your dread is one of a kind you should be proud of that.patience is a virtue. im starting mines next year =)

  • Hehe. Thx. I am proud.

Next year? All right, keep me posted? :)

  • This shit looks like a birds nest... I dunno bout the term dreads being plural with this cluster clump of knots! I gotta give you props though for rockin your style and bein unique, I just gotta have mine a lil more uniformed than that. I also wash mine every 2-3 days and never used any wax on um. I've had mine about 6 months now.

  • Hehe, it should indeed not be plural, that's why I changed the title a while ago to singular. ;)

    Thx. Clean dreads are good.

    How are your dreads?

  • having one dread isnt my thing man, but if you like it fuck what everyone says, go for it (:

  • Indeed I shall. ;D

  • personally not my fave dread style... i prefer individual ones at about medium size, but each to there own man.... good luck with IT lol

  • Hehe. I'll let everyone have their own opinion. ;)

    Thx. :)

  • U Have Balls 4 doing that man ugh

  • hehe, indeed I do. ^^

  • that is absolutely viral.

  • lol, indeed.

  • its your hair...and ill probably never meet you in person, but honestly man i think it gives dreads a bad name and grosses me out a little because at that thinckness it will be pretty hard to clean to the center when it grows.

  • Give dreads a bad name? How about people that never wash their dreads and keep them together with wax?

Every 2-3 days I spend an hour in the shower to wash it. It is actually cleaner than some "normal" hair. The rest of my body is even cleaner due to the fact I shower twice a day.

However, if you find it gross then that's fine with me. I'll let you have your own opinion.
