hi there, my daughter goes to bankstown sports little A's & is in the under 9girls,
she has a p.b of 1.25m.with no training, basically just following my instructions as I was a highjumper as a kid,but would like to know if you know of any high jump coaches in the area or if we are able to bring her to Illawong for training.
With the juniors, its one 400m jog followed by about 10 minutes stretching then six high knees, kick bum sprints on grass. Then three about 20m curve running, finishing in straight to duplicate run up.
Then... we mark out the run -up.
Matt, my 13 year old spends at least 30 minutes to 45 minutes warming up. He knows what to do, and does it.
really like 4 foot off the ground or w/e i could jump higher then that when i was 9 siccor jump
