  • you are a radio presenter? is this for music or news or on-air shows, or maybe you are doing voice-over work? i do not work in radio however.

  • @americandiscocrash Going off the stuff on your Youtube channel, I just assumed you were involved in pirate radio. I work as a kids entertainer and a golden oldies DJ. I have another Youtube channel called TheRetroJukeBox.

  • Thank you - I remember Issi noho - but funnily remember it being much better - memory is a funny thing! Lovely.

  • cant believe iam watching this i knew he was real x

  • @florackunda You would be amazed at how many people thought that poor oold Issi was just a figment of their imagination - but, here he is!

  • @BritNostalgia issi is real and the kids are imaginary?

  • @americandiscocrash Both Issi and the kids are supposed to be real.

  • @BritNostalgia so this is an artist's reenactment of what happened?

  • @americandiscocrash Oh yeah. Pandas can really speak good English and perform magic tricks!

  • @BritNostalgia you mean proper english? he could if he is from the purple planet and relocated to england via the land of make-believe. if he knows lady elaine and king friday, it would not surprise me. regardless, i am glad you posted the video. i had never seen that before being from ohio. although it was for kids, i enjoyed it immensely. it seemed mildly dark with a twisted humor, and definitely great story telling--all synonymous with england.

  • @americandiscocrash Not many people in England seem to have seen Issi Noho. He seems to have been forgotten even though he was fairly popular during the 1970's. I notice that you work in radio? Small world! I'm a radio presenter as well!

  • The days when there were only 3 names in the credits!

  • Wow - this is the earliest TV show I can remember. I have vague memories of a Panda living in a treehouse and a rather jazzy theme tune. Well here's living proof that it wasn't a dream after all. Many thanks for posting.

  • OMG I've had a panda called Issi Noho since I was 5 and now I've just found him on YouTube because of the wrtting on the side of a tea chest!!! I feel like a child again, many thanks Ali

  • ISSI NOHO!

Still love pandas because of this TV show.

  • Omg thanks for posting this theres hardly anything on net about this panda and noone believes me that it existed lol :O)

  • @rollinscheeks No problem! I've still got an Issi Noho annual somewhere.

  • @rollinscheeks ditto! I haven't heard that music for 35 years!

  • Thank you for posting this excellent site I to have a panda called Issi I am a forty year old married man tried to explain to african wife now can show her thanks

  • I LOVED ISSI NOHO

i have my own panda called issi noho :)

  • I loved ths programme as a toddler, my mum's nickname for me is Issi-bum bum, named after this character, she still calls me Issi to this day, I am now a 37 year old mum of two, but doubt my kids would enjoy this programme as much as I did!

  • Brilliant nostalgia! I found my little toy panda the other day at the bottom of the wardrobe who was named after him! Mrs D Hill Tenby Pembs!

  • @LloydyHill Hi. Thanks for the comment. Issi seems to have been largely forgotten on the internet. I read at one time that his episodes no longer existed in ITV's archives. Fortunately, this one seems to have made it!
