I'm horrible with the US system, having been brought up in the UK, but if she is 17 in season 4 then she entered Middleton High 5-6 years earlier, which sounds about right. We know she took her first-ever driving lesson in the show, and again that fits with this range. Besides, Rufus told me. :)
