@TheSevenQueens For this purpose I agree with you. If you have time to let them warm up they are as good as incandescents. But I doubt you're going to open the door and say "Alright, hold on let the lights warm up and I'll be ready!"
Would it be wise to have a flash-light either on my shotgun or sidearm inside a dark house? The only pro's and con's that I can think of is for the cons: giving your position away to the enemy/intruder and pros: to either spot the enemy or be aware of your surroundings given that you're in a pitch black environment.
@saltydog78 I am not a pro by any measure... but having a high lumen light on any weapon is an advantage in your home. especially one with a strobe function can disorient the intruder. like the principle he's teaching in the video it will not reveal your silhouette all they will see is the light. Not only does this make you a difficult target to spot but it can prevent them from getting a good sight picture on their own firearm.
I am interested in any job openings available within your company. My written/thought responses to tactical scenarios may help to achieve the lessons and information provided by your channel/company.
Could you do something on garages attached or detached from the home? Please include manual and remote openers. Also, garages that are located on the same level as the house and those that are on split level homes. Thanks for the great video.
Good ideas but a big problem is doors with glass, windows most are not built to exceed the fl building codes . Where a 5 ft 2x4 shot from a air canon at 225mph. Will not penetrate the glass. There is after market film that can be add to the glass that can and exceeds the code. most Door frames that are so week a 90lb girl could kick in most doors. There are fixes.
Thanks for putting videos like this together for others to watch. I really get a lot of good info out of them. I specifically liked the "slicing the pie" portion of this series.
Again, thanks. Right now I'm using a Glock 23 .40 Cal Gen 3 for home defense.
We have a room along the back side which is 75% windows. We use mirror tint film w/ fluorescent floods which come on at dusk. It's nearly impossible to see in. 90% of home intruders (thieves) can be deterred with uncertainty. And, seeing nothing but ones own reflection as one approaches the house definitely provides that.
You have created some excellent videos illustrating the fact that it is always easier to see from dark into light. I am sharing these with friends and family. TNX!
mount motion sensor flood lights high with protective grill. lights that can be reach will be disabled by the intruder. invest in a wireless security system. doesn't need to be monitored, just make sure the siren is loud.
thumbs up on the vid. really good info. some people might see this as common sense, but like you're saying a lot of people don't think tactically. i don't think it's an overstatement to say this vid could potentially save a life.
Very well done! EVERY home owner should watch this as it could be the difference between life and death. It's not a bunch of hype trying to sell us, but rather to show how easy it is to put the ball in your court verses the bad guy. AAA+++
@talontraininggroup I know this is now eleven months late, but I think it would benefit many if you revised your corner clearing techniques with a shotgun instead of a handgun. I've watched multiple videos on how to clear a corner with a pistol but not as many "good" videos on how to maneuver around a home with a shotgun. Many thanks.
Very, very cool video series. Thanks so much for doing these. Gave me a lot to think about.

Compact fluorescent lights are useless for outdoors, they are VERY dim if it is cold outside. Incandescent only!
