Thinking of getting this bike as my upgrade from a scooter? used to ride a geared bike but it got stolen! but is this a good bike for a 5 foot 4 , 16 soon to be 17 year old ? seems and looks it
I miss my old Ducati Monster 600.... It's the greatest bike ever! Great video! I have seen it a cuple of times and can still feel how the bike perform when you drive it. The Termignoni exhaust makes all the different! That does it, -I need to get me one of those again!!!
@Frankeboy007 Thank you :) I miss my Duke too because I have sold this bike :( It turned heads wherever it went, such a sound. I also think I'll get another one!
Hello! I would like some informed about the Ducati Monster. It's a good bike? How much consume on long trips? parts are of good quality? seat position is comfortable (500km on a day) ? What year is your bike in the movie?
@DarKRid3R21 Sadly, I've no longer got this bike. It was a 1994 manufactured bike, and when I first got it she wasn't running. Spent 3 months getting her back on the road. Most expensive thing I had to replace was the forks. Engine wasn't running because of bad valve clearances and worn needle jets in the carbs.
Seat was comfortable, low height too.
500km would be a lot on any bike, biggest problem you'll have is wind buffeting - but that depends on your speed :)
What a cool road to ride on. I just got a M600 and can't wait until the snow melts here in MN to get out and ride. What were the biggest things you had to do to the bike during your rebuild? Mine is at 19k and I don't know much about the history. Let me know if there are some things I should be looking at while the snow is on the ground so it's ready to ride fast this spring :)
Best video on youtube! I have the same one but in Yellow. Next week he is going to the shop to be made ready. I am 21 in April so then I can finally ride mine! Termignoni's are waaaaaaaaaaauuuw! My neighbours hate me allready and I haven't started riding :D.
More movies please so we can see the full power of your beast!
Great sound, great bike! How come ther is not much wind noise? Did you cover the mic with anything or recorded sound on a different device? Even at 60 it wasn't that bad. What camera is it? Thanks.
@jajajacol Hi, glad you like the bike! I feel sorry for my neighbours because of theTermi's that are fitted but on the open road the sound is fantastic. Such a growl at full throttle! The camera is a GoPro HD completely standard just placed on a suction cup holder on the tank. Great video quality and sound from those cameras, highly recommended.

sounds great. Whats the M600 like to live with? Are the reliabilty issues true?
Any info would be useful,
Cheers, Jon

I ride mine every day for as long as I can. But watching this still makes me smile :)
Out of interest, how far are your forks above the top yoke? Mine are on the last grove, but I don't know if that's std.
