  • I developed tinnitus at the age of 27 after a skull fracture from an unprovoked assault/robbery, when I was jumped, knocked down, and had my skull fractured.

The only thing that helps is a benzodiazepine; specifically Xanax. I take 2mg at night before going to bed. It's the only thing that helps. I'm hopeful more money is allocated for research for a proper cure for this insidious ailment.

It would be nice to know silence again.

  • Im 61 and This started with me 5 years ago, and I was told there was Nothing that could be done. I took medication, herbs and just about everything and nothing helps. I though i was going crazy, and that I would never be able to take never having silence at night. Thanks for all that you do Bill, I would love to meet and talk with you some day about this
