@klooger28 Edge glitch, it was. The edge glitch puts you at the top edge of the portal. In this case, the top edge was against the door, so it put me on the other side of the door.

how the hell are u doing the door glitch i tried a hunderd times and still cant get it

You have to make sure the portal that is in front of the door is as close as it can be to the door. I had this problem for a while too. There are like 3 good spots or so you can put it. Otherwise, it wont work.

how do you jump from the ledge to the door? such a far jumpy

If you jump straight, not like a circle jump, but just straight, you get more distance in Portal. I dont know why this is, so you have to just jump more straight than strafing.
