I'm an american and I love this century, but I would MUCH rather go back to medival times, where everyone was sort of healthy and not obese like most americans and you could go on adventures by foot and see things you wouldn't have much time to look at in a car, you could savor each and every moment you stand before a beautiful sight, see all the beautiful artifacts and architecture built by people, basically set up camp wherever you want and everyone was nice..That would be the life...

No one was really "nice" and disease was everywhere. There was NO hygiene. People bathed maybe once a year and the average life expectancy was around 40. You would be publicly executed just for bumping into a guard or tortured because they thought you were up to soomething

I've studied US history, domestic and foreign, and I loath what we've done to indigenous, third-world cultures. I actively volunteer for the Ron Paul campaign, and if you study his policies and history, he doesn't support any of the current wars or torture. I support him in hopes that these wars will end. He's a medical doctor and also advocates reforming the FDA. So I'm responsible for all of these problems just because I was born in the US even though I actively oppose and denounce them? Interesting logic.

Accounting for the 1994 in your name I assume you are 17 yo, which means that living in the age of chivalry would give you pretty much 13 more years to live (with "at birth" calculated life expectancy). Yeah, who wouldn't want to live in the age of poverty, total absence of any kind of human right with Church and landholders oppressing the commoners. Most importantly though, no mdoern medicine! An age where the common flu could kill thousands!

I bet you would find it rewarding to read some primary docs from the Middle Ages to see what the medievals thought of human rights, rather than relying on Monte Python caricatures.
