  • So touching movie <3 made me cry!

  • i foudn this in a christian film playlist, but this doesn't look like a christian film, maybe it has christian sounding ideas in it, and with the amish children (who are thought of as christian but Amish christianity is a sect under the law which takes away the whole point of christ's grace and salvation if we can keep the law) not only that it's based on worldly ideas of what christians are, but then it takes the christian children and makes them more like the world, seems like a bad bad film

  • just read the book, and now I find out there's a movie...But it's WAY different then the book, don't know if I want to watch it :/

  • I love this movie! It's so touching, it made me cry.

  • My brother likes this ! ;)

  • this movie is awesome, but so different from the book!! in the book, she doesn't even attend the funeral, let alone bring flowers; and in the movie, she and her sister were once friends, whereas in the book, they were always distant and fighting and stuff. but still, i loved it. good, clean show without all the swearing and stuff you get in so many movies nowadays.

  • will someone PLEASE post this this!! this movie is awesome

  • Is it only me who finds Abigail Mason in this movie very cute?

  • Does anyone no the name of the song thats played when she takes them all to live with her in the City? so far all I've found is ''Farewell'' but it doesnt say who it's by :/. It's such a great song.

    this movie so much. :)

  • fyi just cause you're amish doesn't make you from ireland.

  • @philisphil amish people arent from ireland their from switzerland and they live in pennyslvania and indiana duh

  • @catloverz2 And Michigan,Indiana.Taking them out of their enviroment is criminal. We live a similar religious insular group but are brought up to be stronger than any influences and are very open minded, not judging other cultures, but the Amish are not.

  • i wanna watch this sooooooo bad!!!

  • i cant find the movie at any store..not on the internet. D: wtf

  • Could you tell me where i can download the movie?

  • tri in rapidshare....i downloaded from rapidshare

  • no, that's to upload it. i don't have the movie to upload, i just want to watch it. it should be on youtube if everyone likes it so much.

  • Does anyone know the name of the song that is playing while Sarah is on her way to the funeral? It's not on the soundtrack and I know I recognize it, but I can't find it!

  • does she move to the amish town in the end? i was a little confused by that.

  • Yes she does. She marries her boyfriend, adapts the 5 children, then stays with the amish community because moving to Portland with the children didn't work out.

  • Awesome stuff!!!!

  • Much as I hate to say it, this film was a sad adaption of the wonderful story by Beverly Lewis. This film didn't deserve the title of Sarah Cain; they undermined (especially michael Landon Jr.) one of her best stories...just as those of you who love the movie have a right to love it, I have a right to hate it and say so. It's a good movie, if it weren't an adaption.

  • I ADORE this movie! Such depth, truth and feeling. I also enjoyed Tom Tate's performance. He's a really good actor!

  • i must have cried about 5 times while watching this film :'( but it is so damn good. X

  • This film was so sweet :) x

  • Better then the other "so called" Amish movies!!! This one is very true and real to the core!!!

  • This movie was beautful! Saw it this morning

  • Please, can you upload this movie!!!

  • hey can u get the movie uploaded that would be awsome!

  • please I agree

  • whats the name of the song that you used in the video?

  • @ivan199999 she didnt make the video! its a comercial about the movie when it was coming out

  • @ivan199999 it is watch me fly by dana parish

  • i loved this movie...after i read plain truth by jodi picoult all i was interested in was amish people so wen i saw this movie i rly understood nd i almost cried through it

  • Lol. Last summer I went through an "Amish phase" and for about three months this was my favorite movie in the world. Haha...I even went to Lancaster and bought an Amish dress xD

The movie has some cheesy moments, but overall it's very cute and worth seeing.

(Oh, and the oldest Amish boy is just delicious. xDxD)

  • This movie made me cry in the end. Such a great one...Do you know the title of the song which is played during the scene when Sarah goes to her sister's funeral? I can't find it:S.. Please if you can help me let me know.

  • I absolutly love Beverly Lewis books. Im working on The Parting right now. I cant wait till jan for this to comeo out on dvd since i missed it on tv.

  • aww! this is such a good movie!

  • I SAW THIS MOVIE 100 TIMES ITS SOO SAD

  • cool video

  • Does anybody know the song playing in the background when the kids are ice skating? Any help would be really appreciated, seeing as how I can't find the song anywhere.

  • We just bought the DVD, my wife and I both enjoyed it, I grew up on a farm and went to a country school so the Amish kids somewhat reminded me of my childhood going from a country school with a few kids to a city school with hundreds of kids and later College with thousands of kids. I can remember feeling out of place but these kids were even more so.

  • the what scene?

  • can somebody please please please pleeeeeease add the seashell prayer scene?

  • i use to know the name of the song but i 4got

  • what is the song that plays in the background at the end? i love it but i can't figure out what it is
