whats going on here? I am very interested in the daily lives and struggles of all ordinary Iranian citizens. It appears people are reacting from basic human instincts towards aggressive Basiij who I could only imagine how badly they intimidate and humiliate people everyday. Someone please tell me what exactly is happening here, and is this commonplace for throngs of people to gang up on Bassij police??

@sanatatedupamoart Basically Basij are kind of a militia hated in Iran, only their families and government supporters like them. They are basically thugs and enforcers of the regime. Anytime people get a chance they will do this because they are the ones doing the governments dirty work (killing, beating, torturing, raping) However it is not very common for this to happen, because Iranian government is good at keeping their units out of these situations, most of the time.
