Actually Burwell has composed the score for EVERYONE of their films, from Blood Simple to the upcoming new one this year... ;-)

Thick Pigeon were Carter Burwell (percussion, effects, vocals) and Stanton Miranda (bass, vocals).

Carter Burwell has more recently done film scoring for several Coen brothers films.
