"pc" isnt a company. PC=personal computer. its hard to compare windows/mac, cause mac is seen as the OS and hardware, windows is ANY hardware in the WORLD, with the OS. You still dont get it though. macs are WAYYY over priced. my laptop is 3 X as fast, and cost UNDER $1000! the base mac is $1000, and really crappy and slow!

no its not slow. Boot Up time on a mac 20 sec or less shutdown time 4sec login time 2sec. Opening a program 2-5 sec (depending on how big it is) opening multiple folders 1.2 sec. Yes Macs are really expensive but its Worth It to have a computer that doesn't crash!

not true at all.... Just like Windows has a UNIX compatibility layer built in Mac has one as well. Just load Darwine in terminal and i can run any windows program full speed without emulation

umm, no. first off, thats using the OS in a way it wasnt designed for. im talking about functionality that the OS has without time consuming hacking and other stuff! plus, some windows programs require the Registry! so that kinda rules out a bunch of apps!

Actually i can and will... if you were a good IT u make a automater script to clear the cache when our school system is running at a minimum. A long with run the CRON scripts and the system is clean. Its better then defragging every out on the hour. Oh and my favorite windows sever fail, Those Lovely Virus attacks and system hacks. And please i would LOVE to see windows keep files longer then 3 months with loosing some LOSSY
