The only person that represents Islam truely is The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and you can only base actions etc on his actions and you cannot get false information of him etc and spread it. Basically The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) represents Islam and teaches people how to practice Islam and shows the meaning of the Qur'an and teaches us how to read it.
