@khosro7 Well judging from the name "Hercules", it could be a male and also they can't reproduced. It natural selection to stop them from breeding and because these ligers wouldn't never survive in the wild since they can grow so big. It's sad that they were made for our amusement. They also prone to cancer and arthritis etc.
@Dodedrommer So it doesn't happen naturally. In the wild, they'd never meet let alone want to mate. In fact, they'd more likely kill each other over territory. Ligers are 100% man made.
@SpottedTigress well really wat happens is they put tiger cub and a lion cub together and they will share a close bond unlike the wild so its like having a german shepard and then it seeing a doberman "say in the woods alone" they would probably rip each other apart but if you have a pet german shepard and a pet dobeerman since they were pups they would have a close bond but i know what your thinking alot of people are thinking the same thing
@karkang ??? This isn't about bonding. It's about breeding. Zoos don't put the two together just because they think they might like one another. They put them together to intentionally have them mate and make baby Ligers. Why? To make money. Ligers weren't an accident. Also, you can't compare WILD tigers, lions and ligers to domesticated dogs. There's a huge difference to make any comparisons.
How come the lion isn't attacking and it's acting domesticated?
