I have a 60" Apache SB SS . Workin on my strait 6 and getting bits and peices. Sandblasted early 50"s steels and painted bright red with new goodyears.
Gonna go white with red trim and 49' dog dish hubcaps. Goodluck with yours
Nice '60 Apache! I'm supposed to inherit a '61 Apache 10. its a longbed fleetside, all original. only problem is that its in Arizona and I live in California and dont have the money to go out there to get it. plus it needs a new master cylinder.
I have a 1961 chevy apache 20 and it is very cool and a gorgeous truck. A tip is that ticking noise, I put oil in my truck and it stopped doing it. By the way that is a georgous truck.

Love that 6 cylinder Chevy engine tic. I've owned about a dozen of them
over the years, still have a 68 C-10 and a 1950 step side and they
all had it.

that is a soild tappet motor it sounds like a rocker 1 or 2 are out of adjustment but if you dont hear em theres somthin wrong

Sounds like a bit of valvetrain noise, next oil change, substitute a quart of oil for a quart of lucas oil stabilizer. Works like a charm.

nothing, just a name. Someone correct me if im wrong....
but from 1956 to 1962ish the chevy trucks were called apaches then in 1963 they changed the name to the C-10
